The D&G has always been "My Place." Back in the 1980's we went there after play or musical rehearsal to grab a basket of fries and an iced tea and do our homework. I went there with a choir after rehearsals on Thursday nights, literally for decades. I went there with friends on the weekend, and still do. The decor is kitschy, and the food is fantastic. I was heartbroken when it closed, and jubilant when it reopened with new ownership, who has embraced its past...
I had a rough day and it all changed after picking up my Johnny Cash burger and fries! It was delicious! Best fries in town by far and the ranch is wonderful. I really appreciate that the cold veggies were packed separately. Not the best picture because I didn’t intend to take one but it’s the best burger I’ve had in a long time. Thanks D&G!
