FACT: I used to frequent IHOP in the middle of the night almost every night for about 2 years.
FACT: I was made fresh coffee almost every night. On multiple occasions, the coffee served was not hot enough to melt the powdered creamer I brought with me, and when this happened, staff usually fixed it.
FACT: About a month ago, I was refused fresh coffee when it would not melt the creamer. I was told the coffee pot was full and the manager would not allow more to be made. After that experience, I stopped going to IHOP regularly and chose to go to Waffle House instead.
FACT: On November 29th, I decided to try IHOP again. I had a different server, and the service was good.
FACT: On November 30th, I returned and was served by two young employees I had not seen before. The service was poor. I had to ask for my coffee multiple times through another server because my own server did not bring it. At one point, I was given a coffee pot without a lid. (Strange?)
FACT: I asked for my bill when I was on my third pot of coffee so I would not need to flag the server down later again. The server brought the bill.
FACT: I handed the server my credit card to pay. I was brought one receipt to sign, which had happened before during past visits, so I did not think much of it. The bill was $3.60, and I left a $1.00 tip.
FACT: Before I even left IHOP, I received an alert from my same credit card company stating that a $104.19 charge at a business called “Everything 420” was declined due to suspected fraud. I did not authorize this charge and have never done business with that company.
FACT: I cannot determine where or how my credit card information was compromised. However, the timing of the alert immediately after paying at IHOP caused concern.
FACT: On November 30th, I filed a corporate complaint with IHOP after returning home.
FACT: On December 2nd, I received a voicemail from guest relations regarding the complaint. I returned the call three times over the next two days and left two voicemail messages but did not receive a response.
FACT: On December 3rd, the IHOP transaction posted to my credit card as $8.60, which was $4.00 more than the amount I authorized. I returned to the restaurant and was offered free coffee and told guest relations would assist further.
FACT: On December 4th, I filed a police report regarding the unauthorized charge attempt.
FACT: As of December 10th, I have not received a follow-up call from guest relations, and I was unable to obtain copies of the signed credit card receipts to provide to law enforcement.
FACT: This review is being written to share my personal experience and to encourage customers to be mindful of where and how their credit cards are handled, especially in situations where cards are taken out of sight.
QUESTION: Would you personally feel comfortable paying by credit card under these circumstances?
FACT: This situation caused significant inconvenience, including having to request a new credit card, spending extended time on the phone with my credit card company, filing a dispute, filing a police report, and repeatedly waiting for return calls from guest relations.
FACT: The experience also caused unnecessary stress and anxiety due to the uncertainty surrounding the unauthorized charge attempt and lack of follow-up.
Based on my personal experience, I will not be returning to this IHOP EVER!

This restaurant looked beautiful for the holidays!! The staff was efficient to all customers including myself!! It seemed like family! The to-go containers were severely impressive!!! Thank you for this to-go experience!!

My wife and I ordered online and waited over an hour just to find out that our food had been ready for over 40 minutes just sitting in the back. The staff, including the general manager were very rude and condescending. They refused to remake the food, but did offer a refund after the fact. Nothing but a waste of time, and the fact they were willing to serve cold food says all I need to know about this location. Thank God we don't live here....

Our waitress was very attentive, kind, and welcoming! We will be requesting Alyssia every time we come here to eat! She made our experience so much better than the last time we ate here! Will definitely be coming g back in the near future!

Went to IHOP and you can tell it’s improving! New management and new cooks make a big difference food came out hot and actually tasted fresh this time 🙌 Service was friendly too. Looks like they’re really getting it together. We’ll definitely be back for pancakes 🥞💯

The waitress tried to steal my change twice. My food was not prepared correctly. My food was cold. There was absolutely no one else in the store, why was my food cold? I contacted customer relations and their customer service is just as bad. Stay away. Your better going to McDonald's.

Save yourself a bad experience and go to Le Peep. IHop is just as expensive now, the place smells, and the food is gross with a bad presentation.

Delicious food, but have to say it's really disappointing to see the price afterwards! 3.79 for a glass of sprite I didn't even finish is not just a bit excessive, it's over the top... Those bag in box sodas aren't that expensive, y'all are making a killing off of the soda alone. Also 3.50 for a cup of coffee?!?? I may eat here again but I assure you I will be drinking water from now on!! Wayyyy too much to charge people IHOP!!!
