My favorite pizza ever! Please open one in Johnson County.

I love this place. Service has been so bad lately. Waited 45 minutes for an app. No one seems to care. Wish they could get it together.

Stopped in for lunch at Il Lazzarone in St. Joe and had the Margherita pizza—absolutely incredible. Perfect crust, fresh ingredients, and that real wood-fired flavor that’s hard to find. You can tell they care about the craft. If you’re into legit Neapolitan pizza, this place is a must. Can’t wait to come back!

They have a great gluten free crust!!! And they also made a dessert pizza for me!!! So delicious!!! Paige is a great server very friendly!!!

Drove a little out of our way to grab pizza and wow! This place is great. Fresh everything. Delicious pizza cooked in a real wood fired oven. Love this place. Very clean bathrooms. Incredibly friendly staff. Delicious food.

Have been twice this year and both times the food has been amazing!! The waiter we had was less than poor though, i asked for bacon with my pizza and it wasn't on my pizza or the check. The whole visit I watched our waiter clean cups, organize a few things and we waited 5-10 minutes for our check while our waiter was in the back on his phone. We finally got our check and I had the book sitting for him to see but he was once again in the back on his phone. I had to walk back and hand it to him so we could be on our way. The first time we went this year the service was about the same, our waiter/waitress sits in the back on their phone for extended periods of time not waiting on tables.

Wonderful pizza “find” in St Joseph, MO. They introduced us to “Mike’s Hot Honey” dipping sauce and we are now hooked on it! Great service!

This place is always a delight. The service is great, and the woodfired pizza is excellent. They also have a nicely curated beer and wine selection. The patio seating out back is wonderful, especially on an evening with perfect weather.

This place is always a great idea. They will give dough for kids to play with, and the pizza is always good. So glad St. Joseph has a Neapolitan style pie! The wait staff is very kind to kids.

We love this place. We have a gluten issue, but their gluten free pizzas are fantastic. The service is awesome as well.

Have wanted to visit for 2 years now. My husband is from Boston & we know good pizza. Everything was top notch from service, ambiance and our Italiano was divine, the Fogli salad phenomenal & great beer! Excellent price for the value!We will be back !

We ate at Il Lazzerone St. Joe on Saturday, 3/22/2025, and it was amazing. Our server was great, but did not hover. The Fogle salad was nothing short of delicious with the red onion, goat cheese and Balsamic vinaigrette dressing. And then, we moved on to the Italiano pizza -- perfection. Definitely a meal that was great value for money. How about adding an Il Lazzerone to the St. Louis area?

IL Lazzarone has wood fire pizza. Every pizza we have had has been delicious. The atmosphere is great and the service is always wonderful.
