Absolutely the worst food… salty and greasy… 2 orders of fish & shrimp (number 10) and they only got one order right… and they were both supposed to be the same… second meal was missing the shrimp… and it’s French fries… neither of us finished even half of it and we both suffered all night feeling like we wanted to barf or beat it to the bathroom…I think they earned NEGATIVE stars…!

This Long John Silver's is so much better than the one on the belt. This one is clean, odor free grat fish and chicken!! Love the crunchies! The staff was efficient and pleasant to talk to. I recommend this LJS for everyone.

Came in to town to visit my mother she lost her husband last week. We decided to drive from Atchison to St. Joe for long Johns because he loved that place and we always ate there on my visits. We ordered our food then realized they had a special for Thursday. Which would have drastically saved money on the meal. Two for 15.99. We had paid 34 for two meals. When we asked for a correction I was told by the cashier that that wasn't possible b/c she would have to refund it and re ring it. To which I said and what's the problem with that? She went and got her manager who was the only helpful and the only person with customer service skills. While we were asking for the meal correction we heard the cook (white lady brown hair skinny (meth lookin) complaining about us changing the meal and asking for a refund for the difference. My mother said we are standing right here. At that point I was pissed. What putting the fish and fries on a plate was too hard to do? The manager said she "got on her through the headset" then apologized. At this point the cook said something else off key and walked to the back. We at that point did not want to eat there. Last thing I want is some angry person cooking my food and doing lord knows what to it. Plus her food wasn't made with love or even happiness. Nobody needs that energy. The manager apologized again. She said "I'm sorry about her but we can't get anyone else to work here." Sounds like she's chasing away customers more than she is helping your business. Idk maybe pay a living wage so you can get better employees. But this ruined our experience and our memory. I would drive to the Belt if you plan on going to this establishment. Maybe they are nicer there.
