When I arrived at 6:18 inside ready to order with my five hungry children I was immediately advised that once it hit 7 we were to leave if we were dining in. A bit nicer wording. But still the same. No single Mother in any way shape or form wants to take FIVE young and Hangry children out that far after dinner time to a place we need to sit to eat. The last thing I wanted to do was stress about timing. Asked to speak with the manager Beth. The lady stated that was I said was not true, completely lying right in front of me! The managers excuse was to go to her family and watch the Superbowl. That's nice. I just wanted to eat and feed my kids. She further advised she would stay longer for us when my complete shock was stating' I have five hungry kids and am willing to pay'. I didn't want to clean up after them in the car. 40 minute drive still to go. Cheap kids menu. 40 minutes to eat, shouldn't be an issue. But the fact I HAD to stress about a grown woman's personal life when I was already stressing about my own stuff. She chose to work there. I chose to eat there. Further finding out the booths were all tipped over already. The ONLY table to seat my kids and myself was a high top. A high top. With a 2 year old and 4 year old? Thanks for the absolute consideration! So. Not only was I dealing with 5 hangry kids and the thought of where to eat that's budget friendly that will REDUCE my stress over the table, I started stressing about time, and keeping my kids from falling back in their seats. Food was good. Wasn't happy with the portions for my kids food. The macaroni portions for the side and main entree were literally the exact same just in different bowls. I payed way too much money and honestly should have just continued the stress I was already having because this STRESSED me out WAY TOO much more!

I’ve always liked their food and hadn’t been for a while so i ordered a large mac and cheese thru mobile app. It was $7.00 for this mac and cheese and I swear it couldn’t have been but maybe a cup of mac and cheese! I ate it in like 5 bites! Wish i would’ve have known how small the portions were because I would’ve never paid seven dollars for barely a cup of macaroni and cheese. I mean it was good but it’s not seven dollars for barely a cup good.

Had an early dinner. Ordered the jalapeño turkey crunch and spicy southwest chicken with a side mac n cheese. Food tastes was delicious, the famous sweet tea was great.

Very first time visiting this place. I was surprised by the flavor in every bite. I ordered the spicy turkey crunch and the spicy southwest chicken. By preference I enjoyed more the spicy turkey crunch, but both of them were so good. I also had the famous sweet tea with added strawberries and it was delicious 😋

Such a nice, light lunch and the staff is so helpful. The sweet tea is worth the stop all by itself but then get a potato too!
We ordered through door dash. The first dasher assigned to us picked up the food and then dropped the order on dasher and stole our food. McAlister’s stepped up and remade all our food and sent it with a new dasher to make sure we got our order. Great service!

I've always liked this place, good comfort food. Cozy dining room. Nice staff. I like that they added new TV's helps when you have a family. Food is never steaming hot coming out is the only con.

I am only giving the deili 3 stars because the cost for the entire lunch was $20, It included a large tea, sandwich and tiny potato salad cup. I will probably not return because of the prices, not because of the food or service.
