Perkins Restaurant & Bakery

There were only 2 other customers besides us in the restaurant. The hostess seated us fairly quickly. Our order was also taken quickly. That's where the service literally ended. There were at least 4 people in the kitchen. One lady was singing, someone else was pounding nonstop on something mashing all kinds of noise. The other customers got their food, ate and left, but we had yet to receive our order. After being in the restaurant for over 40 minutes and still our meals didn't come, we left money for our drinks and left.

Saw the signs on the interstate & decided to stop in for lunch. Parking lot was empty, but it was open. Walked in the door & took a few minutes to even be acknowledged. Was seated & noticed there were only 2 other customers in the whole place, as we were sat right in front of them. Waitress seemed fairly polite & drinks were brought quickly. Ordered food within a few minutes of being seated.

2 people behind us was served their food while we were waiting....and waiting. They finished their meals, paid & left, and we were still waiting. We ordered 2 sandwiches, basically 2 burgers. We listened to the employees talk, sing and bang things around(in the kitchen area), the whole time we were there. Waitress never came out to check on us or anything, the whole time.

Finally, after 35-40 minutes or more, of waiting, we left. No reason at all, that food should take that long, especially when we were the only people there. Felt bad leaving, but holy crap, that was ridiculous.

I wish I could leave 5 star review, however I cannot! The fact that the company itself expects ONE server to work the entire rush so that the company doesn't have to adjust the server's wage is embarrassing!!!
You'd get more business if you staffed your location properly! But if you aren't worried about sales then I guess! 🤷‍♀️
65$ for 2 people and we waited 30-45 minutes JUST for the ticket!

We stopped midway through a long roadtrip and had one of the best patty melts I've had in a long time! The server was friendly and attentive.

Went in for dinner with my family service was horrible we ordered an appetizer didn't get it till after we go our food. Food was cold. I got a hamburger and it wasn't fully cook. My kids ordered off the kids menu which includes drinks yet they was charged as if the drink was separate and didn't get their dessert that came with it. We use to love going here but won't be back!

Just this location- Food is good, but you always gotta worry about the service.

I've seen more people walk in/ out because service is slow, disorganized, and always out of menu items.

The service was slow, food arrived cold and some not at all, service was decent but for a place not very busy the service could have been better. I would try them again maybe just a bad day.
