POP'S PLACE SPORTS BAR AND GRILL

We were looking for a great little hometown, regular people place to eat on our road trip home to Utah. We stopped at Pop's Place for lunch. Great atmosphere, fantastic food and great service! Great burgers, the best french dip my husband has ever eaten! Thank you Rikki for your grat service!

Tried Pops Place in St. Joseph, MO. One of the best tenderloins I've had, the sides were awesome too. Fresh cut fries, homemade Mac n cheese, twice baked potato casserole. Wife had the French dip and it was great! My family of 5 ate for under $60 almost unheard of anymore!

Food came out super fast. Staff helped quickly and was friendly. Tons of fries with the sandwich. A little burnt but to be expected with shoestring. Mac n cheese should’ve been served in a larger container as it was over flowing. But it was tasty, not some box bullshit. Overall great place. Would definitely visit again.

Went here after the Bluffwood Ren faire- my wife was still dressed like a dragon elf and we only got a couple weird looks, lol. Portion sizes are excellent for the price. Food was amazing. Not a sports guy, but will definitely stop here again next year.

Mexican buffet almost made me and my gf sick gross worst in town dry over season hamburger salsa gross red pork chilli yuck O must have been pork out of a can i dont think itsreal pork go to Barbosas there red pork chilli fire you can tell why there was only a few people in there place needs jhon taffer real bad never ever going back wasted 28 dollars with only 2 waters bartenders wasn't friendly server was nice tho but who could afford to tip her tho ? Already robbed me for $28 just look at their response the people are trash and yes you need cooking lessons big time. Go to Barbosas instead they know how to cook there's a reason they are always full every seat taken and this place always empty on Tuesdays at lunch time it will cost about the same price and yes i tried 3 things on 3 different plates very little of it and all 3 was horrible my gf only had 1 plate so get your eyes checked as well or your drunki d be embarrassed to bring anybody for that their water is good.

First time here at pop's place I'm going to tell you something this food is amazing.

This place has excellent customer service and I would definitely recommend coming by if you co.e to St Joseph Missouri.
