I’m a local business owner with not much time on my hands. My mother and I were running my store and needed a quick and easy option for lunch. I ordered us 2 salads on the app and went into the location to pick them up. When I got back to our store to sit down and eat my mom says “there’s no lettuce on my salad”.
I was like what?!
I called into the subway and asked if they would offer any kind of remake option. I explained that We did not have time to come back that day as we were very busy and couldn’t step away again.
They said no they couldn’t do anything to make up for it but I could bring the “salad” back when I got off work that evening and they would remake it. I really thought they should have offered us a refund or a remake of the salad another day for lunch.
I politely told them we wouldn’t be eating lunch there anymore and the employee said very loudly and snarky “OK YOU HAVE A GREAT DAY MAAM, THANK YOU FOR CHOOSING SUBWAY!! SEE YOU NEXT TIME” and then hung up on me.

Not enough toppings on sandwich. Cold meatballs. Not enough sauce on sandwich. Subway is too worried about portion control rather than making the customer happy. If I'm paying 12.00 plus for a sandwich....pile it on...

Issues with no help upfront while it's busy. When two in back came up they got in rhe way, i guess doing inventory, but didnt help. Finally one (manager?)stepped help me check out, and made wisecrack that need to let know when using coupons can't get hot sandwiches. Then walked away when obviously new workers were swamped. Not very personable to workers or customer.

The first time I moved to town and visited, the Subway employee was being arrested. I should have known then..the teenagers running this place finish their flirting and full conversations with each other prior to even looking at the customer waiting to order. Why don’t you guys close at 7:00 PM? You are OUT of EVERYTHING, no bread, nothing! Every single time. The girls just giggle knowing they get paid to do nothing since they “ran out” and “could make more BUT.” It’s sad. Word of advice to the owner(s)- Train YOUR employees that YOU pay before you have these little kids running YOUR business into the ground. For the sake of humanity & everyone’s future, teach these children how to be responsible young adults. Back in my day, if you didn’t do your job right, you didn’t have a job. 🎤

I ordered online and checked in. They said 5 min. Ok! 15 min later and numerous walk-in customers later they still had NOT started it. Staff just kept interrupting my questions saying I had an online order and they came in at same time. Thats fine but you know we're here waiting, you ignore our orders and keep handling walk ups only. After the woman that had been also waiting got her order, I find our they never started mine and mustve thrown ticket away. 35 minutes I waited IN STORE!! After using my ENTIRE lunch break, then she wanted to start my order! I instead made her void my card order, give me a receipt, and I went across street to Sonic where I was on my way in 4min! I will NEVER NEVER go to that Subway again. Thanks for nothing and tell your staff if they want to piss off customers, keep interrupting and talking over them, and blaming the customer for distracting them from their duties

Stopped into this location to grab a sandwich for dinner. As soon as I walked in, the guy behind the counter informed me that they had flatbread only right now. This is at 6:30 in the evening, during the dinner rush in our area. I told him, "Thanks anyway.", and left. I'll probably return eventually, but it'll be a little while. Give them some time to get their act together hopefully.

Ordered Pickup at S.169hwy location in St. Joseph, MO. My sub was made right and put together okay. It was a little messy but I ordered a Deluxe Tuna with extra mayo and vinegar & oil. LOL I like them messy! The girl who waited on me was very friendly and polite when I asked about the sandwich having the deluxe meat. I just wish it was always this consistent. Because I love Subway!
