I am not a native of St. Joe, so I had to ask a native about the "Save n Sack chilidog." Interesting history! I was not a big fan of the Save n Save hot dog (the chili was good), BUT when you substitute the Nathan's all beef hot dog, it is DELICIOUS. Please consider adding the Nathan's chilidog to the menu as the "All Beef Chili Dog Snob." Us former Chicago area folks won't eat anything other than an all-beef dog! For me, this is 100% pure nostalgia & I love it! The chili dogs. Look like Sac N Save. Taste like & smell like it! It's even in the same wrapper! The brown bag special is $6 ( 2 chili dogs & chips ). The only thing I wasn't a fan of...was the lemonade! Gotta step your game up! But it's definitely a great spot to have a good lunch! Support your local business & get some chili dogs & beef burgers!
If you have never had a sac and sav chili dog before then now is the time to come try them. If that doesn’t float your boat then they have frito pies along with some tastes freeze dried candy. New menu items are coming up daily so check in to see what’s hot.
