Never make reviews but I wanted this out there- The food was delicious but the staff member working the counter specifically, not the kitchen staff, was extremely rude. The kitchen staff member was very kind and helped us out while the counter staff ignored me and my family and didn’t put our meal ticket back to the kitchen. I understand mistakes happen, however upon approaching the counter after meal #40 was called and I was #33, I wanted just to check on the meal. She wouldn’t even look at me and the kitchen staff member had to come out from behind the grill, ask me what was ordered, apologized, and made it as fast he could.

Came in on a Saturday, shortly after they opened at 11am. We ended up having lunch here because I was really impressed by the outstanding prices. I had not expected to find something so affordable in the mall. The staff was very friendly. My son and I were looking for a gooey butter cake and one of the employees hopped down to the restaurant downstairs to see if they had it, and came back to recommend it. I ordered a spicy chicken sandwich and a caesar salad. The sandwich was thoroughly saucy, freshly prepared, and was a generous piece of chicken too. Absolutely delicious - I downed it in no time. The caesar salad was considerable in size, with a package of Newmans Own dressing. Quite a few croutons. They had offered crispy chicken with the salad but it was a side for me. My son had the cheeseburger, which came with applesauce and a drink, and he said his cheeseburger was really good. The food came out pretty quickly and overall we were very pleased. I'd definitely return if I were back at Union Station.

If I could give this place 0 stars, I would have. I NEVER write reviews, but this place was awful! If you order the chicken tender platter, it comes with sauce. If you order the kids chicken nuggets, it comes without sauce. Riddle me that! The kids meals come with a drink, but if you get a drink from the cooler and you need a cup with a lid and a straw, you’ll be charged $1. If you want any sauce with the kids meal, you’ll be charged $.50 — NO EXCEPTIONS!!! We went when there was 1 cashier and 2 cooks. One of the cooks must have been the manager, because he was able to turn down the blaring music. This did upset them that we asked the music be turned down, it was so loud that we couldn’t hear each other. We had to ask what was available to eat, because they didn’t have (or it wasn’t working) all the menu on. Terrible!! Awful!! We thought this was the only place to eat near the aquarium— ITS NOT!! Get snacks from the gift shop or go to the Train Shed (just below - downstairs). Whomever owns or runs this restaurant needs to intervene — 2.2 stars for the location is awful!!

The food is standard.
The ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ is for Darold who worked alone taking orders and cooking. He was calm, patient and friendly. He’s one of the finest StL has to offer.

Soda machine hasn’t had co2 tank in 3 years. They take a lot of liberties on menu items (honey mustard sauce on hot & spicy chx sandwich). Staff unenthused. Save ur $$

Person behind counter ignored us for 5 or so min, then said “Ill be with you in a minute”. We were the only ones waiting to order, and she didn't mention me standing in a wrong location. Another family walks in, she says the same. Minutes later took his order before mine. When I said I was there first, she rudely told me I was standing in the wrong spot. Nothing beats great customer service. November 4th, 2023 135 pm. Hope she finds crabby-self fired.

The food wasn’t bad. However, there was one person working. He took orders, and then went in back and made food. He really did a good job, however the food took a long time. Then, he sold us drinks after already being told by another patron that the CO2 needed to be switched out on the dispensers. It’s y understaffed and not worth the price, or the wait.

Absolutely horrible! Burnt hamburger, with fake processed cheese on the nacho’s! Pretzel cheese that tastes like plastic!Went for just a snack!!????Don’t waste your money!!!

Guy behind counter kept leaving and not able to get anything ppl kept leaving because no service. Counter guy had no ambition. Ask him what was good he said "I don't eat here" I should have taken it and left myself.
