Super cool atmosphere. Trivia was soooooo fun! Great selection of beers and other drinks. Amazing bar tenders. Did not see the cat that is usually there so sad about that. Great variety of beers and the best atmosphere of any local brewery. There are lots of tables and open space, but it doesn't get loud and boisterous like UC. The staff are very friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. The owners care about the community and making a good product.
They have great events a few times a week, and very fun holiday stuff. The restaurant subletting (Central State) is also very good.
This is the most kid-friendly brewery around as well; with lots of games; an arcade cabinet; and plenty of NA options; and even house made sodas.

After I had a baby, I bundled my baby up and left the house for the first time with my boyfriend. We headed to 2nd Shift to grab a beer and some food. I was so afraid of being out in public with my baby-What if he cries? What if he throws up? What if he’s sleepy? And so on… I didn’t know yet that I had postpartum depression and anxiety, but that day, 2nd Shift saved me. This is the first time that I was saved by 2nd Shift, the staff, the fellowship, the owners, the beer, the family friendly environment, I could go on and on but I LOVE THIS BUSINESS!

One of the best breweries I’ve been to. Outstanding, friendly service. Fantastic variety of quality beer. I’ll be back every Saturday to sit on my favorite stool.

One star is too much, brought a couple colleagues into establishment for lunch sat at a table. There was about five or six guys sitting at the bar, the bartender host whatever she was served the gentleman at the Bar and just kind of kicked back and leaned against the bar and just sat there. about 5 minutes later I asked about a menu and was directed to a QR code. No inquiry into a drink order was made by the bartender. She really just didn’t care for more than what was on the TV. Went somewhere that cared .
