This was my first time coming here. It was recommended to me. The smoked Gouda grits were good. However, I was surprised that the meal I purchased (catfish and grits) only came with one thin filet. For the price and portion (compared to other restaurants I’ve eaten at with a similar entree), I wouldn’t get it again. If it came with two pieces of fish, I would’ve given it four stars.
Placed my order and waited for my named to be called...never happen. After a half hour, they said my order was maybe taken. Then I was ask about what I got and realized my order was also wrong. Well, it was redone and I was ok with that, but my husband wasn't. When I got home to eat dinner I see that the catfish po boy was actually a swai po boy. 😤 I do not like the taste of swai. Tried 4 Hens for the first time last night and we were not disappointed. Best creole in St. Louis, hands down. If you like fried green tomatoes and shrimp, order the "Down in the Bayou" *chef's kiss
