Just reviewing regarding breakfast service... but it was atrocious. Servers were friendly, but both days many items were already out (and this was around 830 and 930 am) and food was slower. One day the server mixed up the orders around us (at at least 3 tables) and one of plates as well, to the point that she brought something we didn't ask for due to a food allergy and said it was fine (it wasn't). Another table asked for the Manager, but they brought over another server. Food was super slow too. We felt bad because the staff was nice, but just missing on all things. We waited nearly 25 minutes for eggs and toast. No discount or anything was offered to us and they brought another tables bill that had twice the food. It's unfortunate. Once it came out right, the food was quite good. The site is really unique and lovely. The convenience if you're staying is nice. Many tables around commented that if breakfast wasn't included they would have left. A bummer!

Tonight, my group of 14 spontaneously visited Pennydrop Bar + Kitchen at the Pennywell Hilton, without a reservation. Impressively, they accommodated us immediately. The service was exceptional, particularly noteworthy were Manager Maurice and Chef Bailey. Chef Bailey personally delivered our food, which added a special touch to our dining experience. Maurice was attentive throughout our meal, constantly checking in to ensure our satisfaction. From the burgers and pasta to the roasted chicken, every dish was outstanding. It’s rare to find such attentive service coupled with culinary excellence. Highly recommended.

Was looking for a place to grab lunch at near the gateway arch. We decided to stop in to penny drop. They clearly were just opening for the day so we were the first customers. Unfortunately, there were a lot of things that went wrong. Their drink menu is not up to date and they were out of several drinks that we asked for. The food menu in person was different from that online, we went because we thought they had toasted ravioli. I ended up ordering the Arancini which had absolutely no taste what so ever. Bland rice and cheese balls. My husband ordered a salad and it was basically a salad you would get at a diner. For a $28 salad it should have been a great salad. We somehow ended up spending over a $100 on 2 glasses of wine, a beer, a crappy salad, and an appetizer. Way too overly expensive for some terrible food. Would not recommend. There were some other minor things we noticed throughout our visit that would make me not want to return. For trying to be upscale, this was definitely not it.

Dined here twice as it is in the lobby of the hotel I stayed in and was blown away by the exceptional service from Juli. Her warm and friendly demeanor elevated the experience. The food was delicious and served promptly, complemented by handcrafted drinks that were simply outstanding. A must-visit for both great food, a calm atmosphere, and impeccable service.

Atrocious service. Sat there an hour. Had the worst martini ever. Sent it back. Bartender never remade it. Finally got up to leave and had to wait for ten minutes to pay my bill. No one in this town cares about service. Don’t go here.

Service was horrible I waited over an hour before even been offered a drink. Arrived at 6:30 and food order was not taking til 8:00 and food arrived after 30 mins causing us to rush cause of prior arrangements we had. Asked for to go box and they didn't have any. So we just wasted money on food we couldn't take with us. All they did to compensate us was take the drinks off the bill

Staff was kind and helpful but were definitely understaffed, an issue most businesses are struggling with these days. That said, they did well... just not capable of spot on, service, there was some delay in checking back, getting drinks, etc. Yet, they were all friendly and sincere and helpful. Really good prices for quality food, especially these days with inflation. Cool spot, open, eclectic. Do not go if wanting a dim, cozy, quiet dinner. This is within the hotel so, will have that minor traffic walking through at times, but not intrusive at all. We really enjoyed the meal and time there. The bartender made mean drinks, great Old Fashion.

The Pennydrop bar is a very stunning environment to have a drink or dinner. We stopped by because it was on our list of places we hadn’t tried. We went in the middle of the week, so it was a little dead. It’s self seating in the bar area, and our server came to take our order right away to make sure we got the most out of happy hour.We decided to get appetizers instead of entrees so I cant speak to the main dishes. The hummus tasted amazing and the serving size was enormous. Personally I think the fried pita was soggy with oil and really made it hard to eat the hummus, and left me feeling kind of rough. The wings had a very unique flavored sauce, the peach in my opinion didn’t come through, but it was tasty. The meat was a little tough and I think the glaze didn’t quite make up for how dry the meat was. We got 4 wings and 4 drums, so not the worst price for wings if you get the $2 off at the happy hour. Personally I would skip out on them if could go back. I will definitely be back to try the entrees and will update my review depending on how that goes.

Great dining experience! The breakfast menu is good; I had the poached eggs with duck. And dinner was also great: hush puppies, steak burger, and truffle fries. The food was good, the service very friendly, and the ambience enjoyable.
