This guy knows what he's doing. This BBQ is amazing! I got the smoked turkey leg... so tender, smoked to perfection. Do YOURSELF a favor and visit this shop. Keep this one around you won't be disappointed!!!!
Smoked Turkey leg was amazing, well cooked and tender. The music was very loud.
Maybe an excellent pitmaster, but zero chef skills. The polish dog was a soggy mess on a cheap bun with uncooked onions and green peppers chopped way too large. The spaghetti is soupy with giant garlic chunks floating in it. The ribs have generic grocery store sauce on them. It’s was just backyard cookout level, not restaurant level.
The turkey leg, rib tips, and baked beans are delicious!!!
Really wanted to give this place a try. I ordered on DoorDash and the order was delayed an hour or more and when I reached out to the dasher to see about the eta and the restaurant said another 25 min. Was really looking forward to this guy very disappointed. Probably need better organization. Stick to sugarfire or salt and smoke, those are guaranteed.
Best pork steak in StL. Sides are excellent. Customer service was outstanding. Can't wait to get back there again.
It was too greasy and my rib tips were burnt. I will not go back there again so I don't know what everybody is talking about. It's the best barbecuing cigarettes
Went there two month in a row and no ribs, not because sold out never ready. Food lil salty🤬
When I say the owners are friendly great customer service. I really didn't enjoy my food though. I ordered a rib tip sandwich with 2 sides. The prices are amazing. The baked beans were full of celery and big pieces of bell pepper and weren't sweet enough. The rib tips were mostly bones not meaty and I didn't like the sauce. The potato salad on the other hand was delicious. I was looking for a touch of Saint Louis rather than Texas.
Get the beef ribs. Thickest, juiciest rib I ever had. Basically a cake slice of beef. I’m coming back. Can’t believe the line wasn’t out the door

The beef rib was smoked to perfection. It was absolutely juicy, tender, perfect amount of smoke, perfect smoke ring, and best of all it fell off the bone. The owners grandmama taught him right. Keep it up!
1st time, pork steak, good, cook right, seasoned, good n tender, needed no sauce. Potato salad n beans were great. Can't wait to try the tips and beef rib....
I order a rib tip plate. Rib tips were ok could've been better if the grill was clean before grilling.
Rib tips were burnt and tasted like lighter fluid. The baked beans were horrible! This was my first time and will be the last!
The food was so good .. I’m so happy to have a bbq spot on the south side that actually tastes like bbq
