A very cozy establishment with absolutely delicious dry rub bbq. Sauces are provided at all the tables. First time here we tried the ribs, smoke salami, mac n cheese, pasta salad and cole slaw. Everything was absolutely amazing and reasonably priced. Definitely one of my new too favorite bbq places. Completely understand why they have some sold out items.

This place came highly recommended. They are in the top 3 as for as Ribs. Top 5 as for Burnt ends. They fell off with Beef Brisket, which was too thin and no bark. Same with Turkey, not a lot of smoke to thin. The pit beans were great. Potato salad was good. Great sauce. Friendly owner. The fastest service I have seen. Definitely, if you are looking for good Ribs, Burnt ends, and Pit Beans, this is the place. They sell out fast and try to get there when they open. After lunch, you are out of luck.

Let me just start by saying the food here is top notch and reasonably priced. My husband and I both got beef brisket sandwiches. They were amazing. More food than we could ask for and they knocked the flavor out of the park. The potato salad was good and the sauce was also delicious even if a little overpowering, but it does come on the side, so you can add as little or as much as you want. Overall everything was very delicious and I would happily pick this place to cater any wedding, party, or work event. There were a couple of drawbacks, but none of them had to do with the food. Staff was very friendly and service was quick, but there was practically no parking. We ended up having to park on a busy street and our car nearly got hit when we were trying to get out. They also didn't have any highchairs, so we ended up taking our food to go, but just beware if you have littles this may not be the place to bring them. The last thing was that this is a local place, so they do sell out of things. For example, I ordered a brisket plate, but they just didn't have enough meat to serve me that. Not really a drawback, but informational, they may not have what you want when you want it. Anyway, overall an amazing experience for the senses, but I would call ahead and be prepared to park on the street.

Every few years around my birthday, I take a group of people to a different city for an informal BBQ review. Some years it is a small group and some years a bigger group. This year was my 50th birthday, so I had a group of 16. 3 days, 5 meals of BBQ in 5 locations across the city of St. Louis. We had a great time and ate a lot of great BBQ. Now, to the point of this review of Adam's Smokehouse. After all these years and dozens of BBQ experiences, I can say without a doubt that these folks make great food. They have a very good number of options to choose from as far as meats and side dishes. Unique sauce selections were a hit with the group. The service and atmosphere of this smaller mom n pop like establishment was extraordinary! I can not express that enough. Not just with my group. I witnessed the care and personal attention given to each and every customer that came in. If you are passing thru or staying in the St. Louis area and want a great experience, stop at Adam's. They will not let you down.
