Food was good but it was expensive. With the price they charge, I was expecting more tasty food

We dropped by while driving towards the st. louis airport. Their foods are really delicious, we tried the combination kabob, daal, borani bandinjan, mint tea, and mint lemonade. It gave a home like feeling, I specifically liked their daal. The people were well mannered and the interior looked aesthetic.

This Afghan restaurant is an absolute gem! The food was so delicious that after our first bites, we ended up ordering even more. Every dish was full of flavor and beautifully prepared.
The place itself is spotless and well-kept, with a great menu that offers so many tempting options. The service was excellent—our server went out of her way to make sure we had everything we needed and made us feel truly welcome.
After our meal, we had the pleasure of meeting the owner, who is incredibly kind and warm. We even inquired about catering, and she gave us very reasonable prices for the same mouthwatering food we enjoyed at the restaurant.
Delicious food, friendly people, a clean and inviting space—what more could you want? Highly recommend!

Humus with pita, mantu, beef seekh all were excellent! My toddler that is a picky eater, ate the food here, so toddler approved. Mango lassi and chai were delicious and wayyy better than most indian and pakistani restaurants. Service was great and restaurant was clean. Would highly recommend and would definitely return!

We came here for lunch and we were the only ones in the entire restaurant. The service, perhaps due to this, was difficult. The staff were deep in the kitchen and we had to yell into the kitchen to get someone’s attention due to missing silverware. The food was cooked-to-order and tasted good. I was disappointed by the naan but otherwise had an OK experience.

The food is AMAZING. It’s not spicy, which is always my fear. Infused with soooo much flavor. The vibes are cute, love the cultural decor. The people are so hospitable and kind. I got the eggplant (to die for), lamb shank (oof chef’s kiss), and their grilled platter. The chicken tikka kabob is super soft, and the lamb is crispy. Unique salad

Kabobs were dry and blant in taste. Food is definitely not made by any Afghan chef. Not worth the price as well.

On a whim my son and I decided to try Afghan food for the first time at this restaurant. We were pleasantly pleased with the service, the ambiance and the food. Our server was quiet, reserved but attentive and smiled often. The dining area was sparkling clean with fresh flowers on each table. The music was instrumental and played in the background, not too loud. It's summer, and other eateries have flies. Not this place. It smelled divine upon entering. The food was phenomenal. I could have eaten JUST the naan and hummus it was so delicious and the mint lemonade was amazing! 100% will go again if I'm in the area. I encourage anyone to do by for a great experience.

My cousin was with me.
And we ordered Teka lamb kabob it was good.
And mantuo it was good but not like the Afghan one.
The chicken soup is not like an actual afghan soup,
It was too much different, I put the soup picture
Here you can check it.
