Always a lovely meal at Almonds! Their pan friend chicken is the dish I keep coming back for. Its a love at first taste. Despite my favoritism, anything written on the chalkboards are wonderful. Almonds is an excellent and consistent spot to meet up with friends to enjoy a comforting meal.

Almonds I love you and I’ve missed you. I forgot about you but now I’m back. The menus on a chalkboard are it because paper menus are for quitters. I got a tuna-crawfish situation! My appetizer was the crawfish in a rich and decadent sauce served over bread. Wow! Then I moved onto the tuna steak that I inhaled because it was simple and perfect and I couldn’t stop enjoying. She’s #stlouispescatarianapproved for sure. Such an underrated and unknown spot.

The food was amazing! It was not the same, tired entrees found at other restaurants. My husband’s steak was melt in your mouth, my pan fried chicken was delicious with just the right spices and the blueberry bread pudding was the perfect ending to our meal. I highly recommend Almond’s!

Never disappointing. Almonds updates their menu daily depending on what ingredients are freshest. All items cooked to order and the best value proposition in Clayton, or anywhere for that matter. My fav!

We have had good meals at Almonds but last night wasn’t one of them. First they do not ever serve bread or crackers with your salad or dinner. When I asked why my roasted pork tenderloin tasted gritty I had no response/reaction. I asked her to check with the chef . Which she did and came back to say it was the raspberry in it. Now I’ve had raspberries before as a glaze and never experienced the sandy grittiness like this. Needless to say i stopped eating the pork and ate my sticky mashed potatoes and green beans which btw seems to be all they ever serve for sides.
Just a really, really good restaurant! I'm assuming family/privately owned and the care that goes in shows. Very personable host, nice decor, and GREAT food! The prices are super reasonable. I am a picky person and Almonds pleased me in all respects. I HIGHLY recommend it!

Stopped in for happy hour and appetizer. Excellent service, excellent mixed drink, and delicious flatbread. Enjoyed a nice quiet hour with my husband.
A quiet, comfortable place with an inviting atmosphere and delicious food and hearty portions. Definitely on the map for when we're in St. Louis.
