MUST CHANGE PRICE POINT AND INCREASE TACO OFFERINGSYour food is great, but your entree price points are too high. Two people should be able to come in and split chips/salsa, each get drink, and each get food for $40. But currently your prices make it closer to $55-70, which is why you're struggling.I try to get friends to go with me, but they all say it's too expensive.Mission crushes bc they have such a stellar ala cart taco lineup with unique ingredients. I've been confused on why your taco offering is so limited and only standard ingredients.I found the salt foam margarita gimmicky. If you want people to hang out and enjoy multiple drinks, you'll need to serve a non-sweet $6-7 margarita all day.You make these changes and you'll see me every week! Xoxoxoxo

Food was different, but good. Drinks were great. Love all the different flavors!

This is some of the best Mexican food in the city. It's delicious! Not your typical Mexican food, it's an elevated menu with a range of price points to fit any budget.

Lovely place! Their drink specials are great! Warm and cheerful customer service. Veggie options available & food is so flavorful. You will not be disappointed.

Delicious meal, and very reasonable in price! Menu is different due to covid, so I got the steak burrito. We will be back!

Overpriced salt foam margarita. Food was mediocre. We were there a couple days after they were just opened. They charged for chips and salsa. The shrimp tacos were ok. Guacamole was only 1/3 cup serving for $9. Overall, I would say I won't ever crave anything from there but try once for yourself because my in-laws apparently liked it. I don't.

In my visit to the state in St. Louis Missouri, I had the opportunity to eat dinner at this authentic Mexican restaurant Alta Calle. I’ve been in the restaurant business for over 25 years and I highly recommend this restaurant. It had excellent food, great service, and it had a good atmosphere.

This is not your typical Mexican restaurant. This is placed is owned by two incredible Mexican women. The food is phenomenal and above all, authentic; there is flavor in every. single. bite. So many vegetarian options that can be made vegan by request. The guacamole and street corn are a must-try. Drinks are delicious - the margaritas are handmade. Very clean, welcoming environment with both indoor and outdoor seating. My official favorite Mexican restaurant in St. Louis. If you’re looking for a small business to support-especially during COVID-Alta Calle is it. My husband and I felt safe dining-in here. All safety precautions were in place, including social distancing and mask-wearing by staff.

My favorite spot for Mexican food. Service is awesome even when they are busy. The service was very helpful and observant. The prices are good for what you get.

We went in on a Friday night and were seated right away! It wasn't super busy at all. They did a good job at spacing people out in order to social distance. What I ordered: I got the hibiscus margarita and it was delicious, light, and refreshing! To eat I had the mushroom flautas. They were perfectly crispy on the outside and the filling was yummy! Not my new favorite mexican place, but still a good experience! I would love to go back for another marg sometime!

The reviews had me excited to try. However the food really lacked flavor. We tried every taco they offer ?: My dragonfruit margarita was pretty good. Maybe it depends on the cook

I planned a small surprise party and ordered Alta Calle. I ordered the tacos plate, a variety of burritos and nachos with queso and salsa. My guests were so impressed! They loved the food! The reason I chose Alta Calle in the first place was because I am always so impressed with the flavor and the service. They did not disappoint this time either. I can't wait for the day when I feel comfortable eating in a restaurant again to dine in. The interior is so fun and festive. Definitely a new fave and an amazing addition to S. Grand!

Alta Calle, high quality, gourmet Mexican! The “queso and “guacamole” were the best we’ve had! Holy flavor combinations! We absolutely adored the shrimp tacos, fried cheese layered in... perfectly fried fish tacos were extraordinary and the Flaca margarita and mezcal martini divine! The almond cake ?
