Manager has his head on right 1/2/25 dinner. He had choices to make he made the right ones l feel. When your Manager has his head on right, that means a lot. It is the small things that count.

The food was okay. The server was nice but gave my wife the wrong drink.

I like that Amigo's isn't overly crowded, the food and drinks were very good, and they have outdoor seating also.

The BEST Mexican restaurant I have been to in the St. Louis area! The atmosphere is very cozy, unique and kinda Hip! The service is outstanding and the bartender we had, Wolfgang, was very personable, outgoing and got to know our names!! Who does that!?!? We got a table for eight within 15 minutes of having a drink at the bar! We will be back.

Went here because the reviews were pretty good (4.3/5 avg). My experience was more of a 2/5.

Chips and Salsa - these are free but nothing special, could use more salt or the salsa could use more flavor

Vegetable Fajita - I was less than excited when I saw the plate of items to make the fajita (1 scoop of sour cream, a tiny amount of lettuce, 1 tiny scoop of guac). The beans that came with it also had bacon in them and looked like they were from a can (I do not eat meat, which is why I got the veggie fajita). So not only was there not really enough to fill the three tortillas, but they also served meat to a vegetarian (which I understand is my own fault for not asking, but also is kind of weird that they didn’t say the beans had meat in them when I got the vegetarian dish).

Also, my wife asked for no sour cream but hers came with sour cream, anyways.

Unfortunately not a great dining experience.

The wife and I stopped in at Amigos for an early dinner simply because of the margarita flights! We always like to try something new and someone else suggested the margarita flights and we were NOT disappointed. Margarita flavors Ive never had were amazing!

We ordered and shared one plate of food because neither were very hungry. We shared the Amigos Taco Puffs. We had one beef and one chicken. The taco puff shell is similar to that of a fried taco salad bowl, but in taco shape. The shells are great! Then chicken and taco puffs were Served with black beans, rice, guacamole and sour cream! The chicken was amazing! The beef.... not so much. The beef was dried out like it had been microwaved and was tough.

No condiments, salt/pepper, etc are in the tables and you have to ask for it.

The atmosphere was top notch! Table, booth, and outdoor seating are available.

Parking is easy right in front, or there is a free parking lot right across the street.

I give Amigos 8.75 out of 10 overall.

What could be better:
-Waitress could come around a little more often to check on people.

-Seasonings and condiments being available on the table would be nice so you dont have to wait for a waitress or go find one.

-I suggest finding an alternative way of heating the beef so that it doesnt dry out.

Food was subpar at best. Dry, over seasoned chicken. Dry, stale corn cake. Margarita's expensive and not very tasty...to strong. Charged 12 bucks for a peacharita and tasted nothing like peach. Waitress was not attentive. Won't be back.
