Rooms were dirty, lobby under construction. The worst part it’s the air conditioning shuts off after a few hours so in the middle of the night you have to get up and push the button on the thermostat twice to get it working. Seems as though it’s not a popular hotel as we hardly saw anyone during our stay.

Unfortunately I do not recommend this hotel. My room was too dark to work in, the bathroom floor had dried urine stains, and the bedroom itself had mold issues. When I went back to the front desk they were closed for the evening so I was forced to sleep next to large amounts of mold. The next morning my sinuses were a wreck. That same morning at check out I was told the manager wasn't in and that he/she would call me. I never received a call. I emailed at a later date, no response. I travel often and wanted to stay somewhere different for my birthday. The marketing photos caught my eye but a regular hotel would have been a much better choice. 100% do not recommend. I really originally just wanted to warn the front desk of the mold issue. I never would've guessed that they'd avoid communication to the point that I'm leaving a review. (In the photos, Lights are all the way up, showing how dark it was. The fuzz on the carpet is mold. The carpet was wet in that area. The bathroom floor was gross.) Also, the thermostat is ancient, you have little control of the room temperature, especially during the cold winter months.

I tried multiple times to make a reservation at Commonwealth and could never receive a reply or call back. I gave up after a week of trying. Very disappointed with the reservation process and with their customer service.

Booked through the hotel website for Hamilton at the Fabulous Fox Theater. Walked to the show. Check in was very easy, staff polite and helpful. Very artistic place. Room 611 back of hotel was quite with decent view of mid/downtown. Room was small but bed and pillows very comfortable. Huge shower with a lot of hot water. No complaints. Will book again

Walkability: Easy to get to theater and restaurants

Came for a conference nearby, wife was excited about the hotel. Stayed in room 705 and the bathroom had sewer gas coming in from somewhere. It was horrid! We got in late and we're meeting up with conference people on the roof. Got into the room and it was stuffy, so we chalked the odor up to that, quickly changed and went up to the bar. Came back down and the smell was even worse, but decided to keep the bathroom door shut and tough it out instead of trying to repack and switch rooms late at night.
Looked around and it appears as though the sewer vent is improperly connected to the sink, above the P-trap, allowing sewer gas to enter through the sink drain, which is a code violation.
Told the front desk about it in the morning at checkout, no apologies or anything, just a "we'll have maintenance check it out."
Felt disgusting and couldn't get out of there fast enough.

Our company had a meeting at the Angad Arts Hotel and Jake Leyva, Sales Manager, was our meeting contact. He did an excellent job coordinating our meeting in the Arch View conference room on the 12th Floor. During the event, the food and service was great. Our group had lunch in the Art Bar & Skyview Terrace where they could sit inside or outside. The view was amazing from both! It was such a wonderful experience to see all the artwork in the hotel and our group enjoyed it.

Went to an event at the rooftop bar and it's a great view! Windowed indoor and sun screened outdoor balcony space makes it comfortable in all weather. The bartenders were quick and competent! Lobby workers were friendly. Loved the cocktails, very tasty!

We checked into a suite late and they put us in a room on the 5th floor right across the street from a giant construction site for the Powell Hall. The construction crew started work at 6am the next day and woke me up with incessant beeping and drilling noises.

Overall decor in the room is one prime color which honestly is not a comforting thing for the human eye but I can accept that as their style. You can tell they tried to make it a nicer hotel but it’s also obvious the room was designed without much user insight. There are many details that show a lack of thoughtfulness and maturity in design and management.

Putting checkin on floor 12 when the lobby sit empty just adds friction to the arrival experience because guests have to take two elevator rides dragging their bags.

Many of the light fixtures are extremely glaring, the bathroom has one switch that controls all lights making it either very bright or completely dark, offers no filtered water option in a suite with a sink, but charges $6 for a tiny Fiji bottle which created an unjustifiable amount of plastic waste for basic hydration, has one robe for two guests, and pillows that provide very little support.

A well managed should have a letter from management notifying guests about construction noise issues, so you know to wear ear plugs to get a higher up room or leave, use shaded lamps for soft lighting, have dimmer lights in the bathroom for night time, have the right number of robes for two guests, water filling station for those who don’t want to drink bottled water, two robes for two guests and good pillows.

Attended an event in the PH that overlooked the downtown area. The food and music were great.

I had the honor of watching the fireworks on the roof top of this beautiful hotel on the fourth of July and it was amazing! The view and energy was everything.
This building looks so very different from years ago when it was where you came to get tested years ago, to get WIC, and also the bus stop use to be right in front of the church on Washington and Grand. So many memories from back in the day.
I do love the upgrade.
