This was your basic bar. If you like loud music, sports screens, basic mixed drinks and a good beer selection, this place is for you. Service was good—our waitress was friendly and efficient.

As other recent reviews stated, this place should NOT have a 4 star rating. The prices on the menu are inaccurate (they'll charge more). The food is HORRIBLE. The cliental is drug addicts, the bathrooms are disgusting.

We were in StL for one night before heading to Illinois in the morning. We hit this place up based on it’s proximity and reviews. We left after one round. My beer came out of a bin behind the bar and was warm. They had two or three bins full of cans and nothing in a cooler or on ice. It was bizarre. The place is pretty grimy and the bathrooms had no doors, one working toilet and one toilet covered by a garbage bag, and raw wires hanging from the light fixture. And the crowd was very Meth-y. I still can’t figure out how this has a 4+ rating.

Be aware before paying the guy in the parking lot. We weren’t even parked for 1 minute, we walked inside and it was a 2 hour wait. Walked back to the car and said we had to leave, the guy said no refunds on parking. While we were looking for another restaurant, another person experienced the same thing as us. They pocket hindered a of dollars a night doing this. Shame

Visiting the area and looking for a place to watch some Football and came upon this place. Friendly staff and owner and not commercialized like everything at nearby Ballpark Village. Had a great time there and will definitely stop back if I’m in the area again. Good vibes there.

I had the best time ever! The atmosphere was very open and friendly and a big shout out to Caroline the bartender because she was very friendly and professional I would recommend The Angry Beaver as a go to spot to hang out!
