I went to Astoria Kabob House with my family and loved it. We got borscht, pickled vegetables, pierogi, golubtsi, and chicken Kiev. Everything was delicious. I also loved the kvas. In addition to the food, the service was excellent. I chatted with our waitress from Kharkiv who was very kind in helping me with my Russian. I had a great time and will definitely have to come back.

Great food and service! Starting with the food, having tried several parts of my and my souse's dishes, I mist say it was the best I have had in a very long time, and I am a picky eater by biological necessity. I have an allergy to onions (and just like blue cheese, I love the taste of them /sigh). The server understood and helped me find the perfect dinner - Chicken Kiev, with a side of Pan-Fried Potatoes. I didn’t know what to expect when I came here. However I was pleasantly surprised. The restaurant is very clean and has a European feel. The food was incredible try the Solyanka and Golubtzy. I did not have a bad item here.
