Very delicious sushi, had the Green dragon rolls, lettuce cups, veggie tempura. All delicious and very beautiful presentations. Wait staff very upbeat and accommodating. Drinks were delicious too. Very SEXY atmosphere. Loved it

Some of the best sushi in STL!

I am very far from a sushi connoisseur, in fact most sushi tastes the same to me, so my attraction to this place is the atmosphere. Very modern sushi place in the lobby of a hotel. Some of the seating is in an area that really looks like a modern hotel lobby, and is on lounge chairs and on a sofa. I got the mushroom roll and the seaweed salad. They were both plated beautifully. The salad came wrapped in a slice of cucumber. They were not the best Japanese food I have ever had (I was not a fan of the beats on the bottom of the salad or that the sushi didn't really have any rice on it) but they weren't terrible either and the atmosphere made it worth it. Server was super friendly as well

Excellent sushi here! Get the Godzilla roll and thank me later. Friendly staff and cool vibe at the Hotel Ignacio.

Ok, but fairly generic sushi/Asian restaurant. Not bad but nothing special.

The space is really unique and our server was so incredibly pleasant and sweet. The food left much to be desired. Miso soup was okay. Sushi is better had elsewhere. Pad Thai didn't taste like pad Thai and was almost a stir fry. Maybe it was just the night..

Baiku is located in Midtown by the Fox Theater, Chaifetz Center, and St Louis University. It has a lounge atmosphere, contemporary decor and a small sushi bar. Like most St Louis sushi bars, the way it's built, you can't actually watch them prepare the sushi. The partition is too high. I don't know why that's a thing here. The appetizers portions are pretty large. The lettuce wrap presentation isn't the best for sharing, but the sushi here is very fresh for St Louis and some of the best I've had here

We live in Chicago - the city, so happily have an abundance of wonderful sushi. BaiKu did not disappoint. We loved it and have eaten here every time we are in St. Louis. The specials are unique and always a scrumptious delight. The space is comfortable and chic.

In my opinion, it was ok. I don't believe i got my money's worth, while the rolls were good, mine were small and a few were misshapen seemingly from a lack of filling. I dont expect large rolls but not droopy due to inconsistent filling.Unfortunately they sold out of uni the night before. The pad tai has some type of addition, maybe a fermented fish sauce, because it had a distinct off putting odor and an soured seafood taste. While the waitsatff was nice and informative she needed a bit more deodorant. I would not use cozy to describe this establishment. If i have to shimmy past a table and or people while being of average build then in my opinion thats not cozy, thats close tp being cramped.

This place is a great little restaurant with a cozy, downtown atmosphere. I went here with my husband (who is not a fan of sushi) and was surprised to find varied options along with an extensive drink and sushi menu. Our waiter was very friendly and the service we received was excellent. We ordered the Baiku noodles to split between the two of us and it was delicious!

This has been for years the best sushi I have ever had. Service is flawless and since it's connected to Hotel Ignacio, it's an excuse to indulgence then go upstairs and take a nap. Then come back and eat again!

Wonderful experience in a beautiful setting. Casual with an upscale feel. Sushi, noodles and salad were all delicious.

The food was great and the service was great too. He had the sliders and I had the bakai noodles. The flavors were great in the noodles and vegetables.

St Louis isn't known for sushi, but this is the best sushi I've had in the city. We went when it wasn't busy so service was fast. The presentation is beautiful and the fish is tasty. The menu prices are a bit high, even for sushi. I will be back for sure.
