Service was extremely slow- waited 20 min for 2 martinis.. rather than the waiter saying she forgot to put our order in: she came back and asked us what we got & she would see what was taking so long. The desserts taste like they are frozen and warmed up in a microwave. All around not a classy experience for the amount they charge.
Brownie was hard as a rock. Blondie was hard as a rock. Drinks were ok, but went specially for dessert and was extremely disappointed.

We shared the Lovers Sampler and a drink. The desserts were wonderful and there was a good assortment of drinks.

We've been loyal customers for over 8 years and have always considered this one of our favorite spots for date nights, but unfortunately, last night was a letdown. Our drinks took nearly 20 minutes to arrive, and one of them, a hot chocolate, was lukewarm by the time it reached us. To make matters worse, everything on our dessert plate seemed like it had been taken directly from the refrigerator—it was all cold and lacked the warmth we were expecting. While the atmosphere has always been charming, being seated so close to other parties made the experience feel less intimate. We couldn’t help but overhear their entire conversation, and it felt uncomfortable, especially when there were other open tables available. We hope this was just an off night because this place has been a reliable staple in the area for years.

What happened tonight?! We have been many times and had a wonderful experience. Everything is now on the first floor, and it looks great. However tonight there was no heat. Also no visit from a manager, no extra discount for the issue, not even an extra chocolate chip cookie. Not to mention our waiter laughed when I asked him what they were able to do due to their issue. Another example of compromised customer service was a real disappointment to formerly loyal customers.

They refused to acknowledge and service African American / black parties. Undertones of a racist establishment. A truly chilling, dark experience. I would never go back.
So cute and cozy! We did a date night and will definitely have many more here. The food was delicious, and the drinks were even better. If you're a chocolate lover, this is a place you need to go to!

This wasn’t our first time there and won’t be our last. Always a good date night spot when we are in town.

our server seemed pretty unprofessional and curt with us. we are all young but my sister (the oldest at 28) was told her license looked fake and the server did not want to take it. it was just the older style of license, easy mistake but easy to check. she did not offer a second set of eyes and ended up just saying she doesn’t care, it’s her last week. but after that, she seemed blunt with us and very cold. all of us are in the service industry and understand suspecting a license but typically there’s a second set of eyes before there is a verdict. very rude service from her though everyone else seemed fine. espresso martini was underwhelming but still fine. tiramisu martini was very much enjoyed by my brothers fiancée and we recommended it to the table next to us. it’s my first night back in town with my siblings after months apart since i live elsewhere, so this was very disappointing. my sister was very embarrassed and uncomfortable. it felt very hostile.

This is the third time I have come to Bailey's. It's a quaint little dessert place that offers cocktails as well in a very chill environment. It's one of those unique establishments that doesn't really have competition. There's nothing quite like Bailey's that I've discovered yet. Definitely worth checking out.

I met three friends from all corners of the country in St. Louis for a reunion. It was the first time we’ve been together in 20 years.
There were two Places I wanted to visit while I was in St. Louis… One was the botanical garden, the second was the chocolate bar. I am a Chocolatier in another state about 500 miles away so I was very excited to share this experience with my friends. We were staying downtown so had to Secure transportation to get to the chocolate bar. We were very excited, and when we walked into the entryway, we were greeted with this in an almost accusatory tone: “Do you have a reservation?”. Not a hello or hi or welcome or a smile ! I did not see on the website anywhere that talked about making a reservation. I said no, we did not have a reservation As this is a bar and we did not realize that would be necessary. The hostess said without a smile or an apology that there was a two hour wait (although We didn’t see any other people in line) and that they were no longer seating people, even though the bar didn’t close for at least three hours. I understand what it’s like to be overwhelmed and busy… But we did not receive the slightest accommodation and were extremely disappointed with the service! The hostess suggested we come back another time, which was not possible as that was our one night in town.
