Their website and Google say they're open. It's 5:15 on Friday. Nope! Walked there since they weren't answering their phone. I love wasting my time!

Bamboo Bistro was a favorite eating spot when I lived and worked downtown. I moved in Sept of 18 to south city. I was planning to go pickup some food or get delivery this weekend from there and saw the update that they were closing again for a while. Very sad about that. I hope they are able to come back... had quite a few girl's nights and dates there. Hate to see them go...

Was so happy to see this place back open. I have been wanting to try this restaurant since I moved downtown. I ordered the Shrimp spring rolls, Pan-fried pork dumplings and the Kung Pao Chicken. All of it was superb. I was very impressed with each dish. It was fresh and all were good sized portions. I highly recommend this gem. Will be going back again.

General Tso is great! Lunch buffet has a nice selection for a good price, but ordering entrees provides much more variety at a higher price. Excellent either way!

First visit was just ok. But we live right around the corner, so we gave it a second chance. We ordered with Ritual and picked up dinner 15 minutes later. The Kung pao chicken and lemon chicken were a perfect compliment. Spicy with sweet and sour. Crab Rangoon were fine, but nothing to rave about. Oh, almost forgot about the fried rice. Fresh out of the wok. Light and delicious.

Bamboo Bistro is an excellent spot downtown to grab a quick lunch. Their lunch buffet included a variety of both Chinese and Thai items. I did carryout during my lunch break at work and it was very reasonable (for downtown) at 6.95 a pound for carryout buffet at lunch. You can expect to fill up a large to go container and have lots of leftovers for around $10-$12 with tax. Like most of downtown, there is no free parking to speak of, unless you want to pay for the garage across the street. However, it is within easy walking distance of many hotels and office towers. The staff was friendly and I was able to be in and out within minutes. I highly recommend checking this restaurant out if you're downtown and in the mood for Asian cuisine.
