Felt like an outsider from the beginning. Paid $12 for a bourbon and $10 for a draft. Both served in plastic cups. Go elsewhere.

Very nice restaurant and bar, service was excellent but the food was just okay and for the price I expected more. Everything was way over salted, all I tasted was salt. I enjoyed sitting at the bar atmosphere and the how you can sit in or outside and still see everything. Servers were very attentive and fun.go for the drinks leave for dinner.

What started out as very pleasant out went really bad. The atmosphere in the Bourbon tasting room was amazing. The chicken fried lobster tails was just as amazing as the room. The rolls was great but they ran out before my party of 8 could get any. Mark was a good waiter, but the party of 8 was a bit much for him. To say the least Mark was overwhelmed. All of the entries either came out cold or not how it was ordered. We were seated at 6pm but receive our entre' at 815 pm. We had to take our food in a to go containers and was late for our event. It was very uneventful. I reached to Management. I received 1 email and was promised that upper management would reach out. This happened on March 16 and have not heard from Clark and Bourbon. That's really disheartening being that I'm in the food industry. Disappointed, Chef Craig

We were seated in the Whiskey room and had a fantastic meal. Great wine selection, recommend 8 years in the desert. Lobster appetizer was fabulous and the steaks were awesome. Excellent service and atmosphere. Great evening.

I was super excited to try this place out. The bourbon was list was good. We ordered the seafood tower and they said it would be 30 min to prepare. I was hoping this was a good sign it was fresh. NOPE. The entire thing was frozen and barely edible. It tasting like it’s been sitting a freezer for months. They didn’t de-shell anything anything either, which made the barely edible food impossible to eat. They offered us 20% off the tower when 90% of it was never eaten. We paid, left and didn’t order dinner.

If you don't sit at the bar you don't get served and they don't deliver your drink. Just sat here and just sat here waiting for my food. Loved it

My friends and I didn’t realize this was a bar inside a hotel, which was no big deal. But, we weren’t sure how the service worked since it’s a hotel bar. When we first walked in, we didn’t see a host, and we wanted to be sure that we could seat ourselves. We went to the bar and asked the bartender, Rob, if we seat ourselves. He said yes. We sat down at 5pm, and Rob brought us waters. At 5:15pm, I went up to the bar to ask the bartenders (Rob and Greg) if we order at the bar. I was genuinely unsure, because this is my first time here, and I am not used to bartenders coming from behind the bar to serve tables. Greg bartender was extremely nice, and told me that they would come to us and asked if we were ready to order. I asked a question about the menu, then said yes, we are ready to order when they are, then I sat back down. After another 5 minutes, Rob came back to the table to take our orders. Instead of asking if we wanted to order, he stood at our table. After an awkward 10 or so seconds, my friend asked his name. He said, “Rob. What’s yours?” My friends and I just looked at each other and asked if we could order. Overall, this place is beautiful and the drinks and food are great. But the customer service and professionalism of Rob should match the atmosphere. Due to him creating an awkward atmosphere, I gave atmosphere 4/5 stars. I’m sure my experience would’ve been amazing if I were to have had a different server. Upon leaving, my friend handed Rob her card to pay for her food. He looked at her name on her card and said, “This can’t be your real name.” This whole experience felt targeted, as he was super kind to my non-Black friend who was the third person with us.

No matter if it's for Valentines Day, a solo date, or a girls night out, Clark and Bourbon has got you covered! Between my first week in nursing and my brother having a rough week as well, I decided a sister-brother night out was what we both needed and was long overdue. We started off with lamb empanadas with an aji amarillo aioli (these were James' favorite of the night!), followed closely by the 'oyster lobsterfeller'. This was an appetizer consisting of oysters with lobster, creamed spinach, bacon, beer, and grana padano cheese. This was James and I's first time trying oysters and all we could say was 'wow'! Next up, for the entree we got the Delmonico Ribeye, steakhouse mashed potatoes with bone marrow and mushrooms (my favorite), and the U10 scallops. Scallops were also new for us and James described them as, "if chicken and a sweet cloud had a baby" As soon as we thought we were too full for anything else, a warm fresh gooey butter cake with vanilla bean ice cream, strawberry purée, and pistachio crumbles came out and, to make a long story short, it didn't last long. (We may or may not have ordered a carrot cake for home too) While the food was absolutely divine, the great staff made the whole night one to remember. It was James's first finer dining experience and he hasn't stop raving about it since we left I have a video review on @breakfastatlaurens on Instagram if you want to check it out!

the food was pretty good (except the lamb chop empanada--meat was good, sauce and salsa did not align) however the server ROB was VERY unfriendly to those of darker skin tomes and made sure to display his distaste through his comments and care. He took it upon hisself to look at my card (for no reason, because he already ran it through and did not confirm my name by asking for my ID) and proceeded to say "this can't be your real name and chuckled! As a black women in this establishment I felt very targeted! I watched as he served and talked to other tables with compliments and care. While I personally, for no reason, was given rudeness and distasteful attitude.

Clark & Bourbon has become our go-to downtown St. Louis spot. It's the Old Fashioned ! The dynamic menu, constantly evolving with the seasons, keeps us on our toes. The ambiance is set perfectly with an open kitchen and contemporary decor, creating a delightful atmosphere. The location in the Lowes hotel, right by Busch Stadium, adds to the convenience of this spot. We love the option to reserve The Whiskey Room, a private tasting space filled with an impressive library of whiskeys and bourbons.Very fancy Lobster & Crawfish Cakes were amazing. The diverse menu, from steaks and seafood to pasta, roast chicken, and burgers, ensures there's something for everyone.Very easy to bring friends and the foodie fam! The classic shareable options never disappoint. This spot has become a staple that we eagerly recommend to friends and fam. Cheers to Midwest dining with a modern flair!

Fine Dining Restaurant in Downtown St. Louis- This is the place that's sure to impress EVERYONE! Clark & Bourbon is located inside the Live by Loews hotel in downtown St. Louis. You can valet, but we opted to park in the Ballpark Village lot. The hotel front desk can validate your parking. We started with lamb empanadas, then moved to kale apple salad with lemon vinaigrette, grapes, dried cranberries, goat cheese spread. For entrees, we had lamb tenderloin, salmon that was literally caught the day before, 3 different cuts of steak, bone marrow mushrooms & potatoes, and lobster & crawfish cakes. Finally, ended the evening with bread pudding and a smoked old fashioned. The presentation of the smoked old fashioned is impressive and will surely have everyone else at the bar ordering one, too, once they see it. Have you been to Clark & Bourbon? It's the classiest restaurant for your fanciest friends. #maryeatsstl #clarkandbourbon #livebyloews #downtownstl #finediningstl
