Bar Louie - Central West End

New years Eve DJ doesn't show up. Staff tried their best to DJ, they should have a backup for this situation. Thank God, I had my hot date that would dance when staff finally would play a danceable song. No champagne toast or count down. Place was dirty. One star for good food.

One waiter for the whole restaurant. He did the best he could all food came out cold. Out of fries,pasta,napkins. Won't be back. It was after lunch hour so what happens when it's busy? Should have heeded the reviews.

What a fantastic place! We had a party of 15 on a Friday night. Our server, Peggy, was amazing! We never waited for drinks or food and Peggy always got things right, even as people changed seats! She was always smiling and very personable. Our food was delicious and served quickly. If I'm ever in St. Louis again, I'll definitely eat there! Way to go Peggy...other servers could learn so much from you!!!

Good place for watching sports while eating good food. I used to come to their burger tuesday nights but quality has gone down because of how busy it gets. My burger has been a hit and also a miss. I do recommend coming for happy hour for great deals on food and drinks!

We didn't get past the drink order. Ordered two different brands of draft beer .. both were flat and the smell was repulsive. Also, ordered an ice tea which had an odor of sewage. We should have known it wasn't going to go well when the menu's were stuck together... wondered why it wasn't crowded when we walked at happy hour on a Friday...didn't take long to figure out why it wasn't... actually left curious as to why anyone was there.

Taaron was an amazing server, very friendly. Went above & beyond for me & my friend during Sunday brunch. We also met the bartender that day Troy, He was just as friendly. We will definitely return because of the friendly staff.

Food was atrocious! I kept the food to bring back for a full refund & the GM Boyd refused to refund me my money back but offered a gift card which makes no sense because if the food was nasty the first time why would I want it a 2nd time?

Love all the staff! Arielle and Eve especially! They always remember me and what I drink and like to eat. Great place for whatever you’re in the mood for like watching a game or just wanting to grab a quick drink after work. Highly recommend!

Martinis were good. They have decent happy hour prices. That was about it. The rest was awful. Incredibly poor and surly service. Literally I should not have given any tip. Bartender literally didn't care about his job or patrons.

Took forever to get service. It was a Friday night. But when we did get service the first shock was that the waitress took the meal, drinks, and appetizer order for a table of 8 purely from memory, and nailed it... The food was also great. Would have given 5 stars if it hadn't taken 30 minutes to get service of any kind

Wish I could give this a better rating and maybe it was an off night but I came here on Sunday for a casual date to grab some drinks and watch the football game. Sat at the mostly empty bar that was dirty and waited at least 15 minutes to be even acknowledged. I’ve worked in the industry for 15+ years, even if I’m swamped or short staffed, the easiest thing to do is say hello. Wasn’t looking for a conversation since I was there with a date but that’s like customer service 101. Next, our empty beers sat on the bar for a solid 10 minutes before another employee asked if we needed another, our bartender was outside smoking. Next, I go to use the bathroom. I walk in to a woman washing herself in the sink and 3/4 stalls have out of order signs. I go to use the only working toilet and of course, no toilet paper. Really not one for leaving reviews but yikes. Do better.

The service was outstanding, and Krysta our serve introduced us to some new things we never would’ve tried otherwise. She is very personable and checked in with us regularly to make sure we had a memorable dining experience!

Tried to give it another chance and had 3 different bartenders take my order- had to wait 20 minutes to order another drink between empty glass because the staff and other bartenders just sitting at the bar and complain about how they hate their jobs- don’t want to work- tried to order food but everyone was busy sitting and complaining - worst service ever!!!!

Great customer service and good food

I used to love this place! It used to be fun and somewhat upscale...considering it's the only sports bar in CWE, but now this place is trash! The bathroom, disgusting! The service, deplorable! The food? Try not even the salads are under 1,000 calories...and nothing even tastes good! I'm so disappointed that this place has gone down the tubes. We need a new, better sports bar there! Twin Peaks anyone?! The only reason it has two stars is because they have the cheapest bottomless mimosas in the CWE.
