Drinks service here is great for such a crowded late bar. The karaoke nights could be better. I went with a group of people and put my name in the same time as my friends and they got atleast one song in and the KJ skipped me completely. I know she takes tips, but that shouldn't justify skipping a person completely. If I hot there early enough for my friends to sing then that person should've gotten there earlier himself.

I moved here to South Saint Louis from California. I think my worries about coming back to st. Louis are gone. This neighborhood is super. Then I discovered hh this bar called Barney's. Killer pizza, cool environment, everything. And the best part is how everyone is real. What you see is what you get around here. The bartenders are great. This place defined as a neighborhood bar. Yet I'm from out of town and I'm treated like one of the regulars. This bar made the transition smooth I'm proud to be here and lucky they're here for me

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I stopped by Barneys for the first time on a Tuesday and didn’t realize it was karaoke night — what a fun surprise! The vibe was awesome and totally made my night.
This might be the best 3 AM pub in St. Louis. Super cool atmosphere, great crowd, and the staff is amazing — especially **Justine**, the bartender. She's quick, friendly, and really knows what she's doing.
Tried the pizza and tacos — the **tacos with salsa** were a standout!
Now I'm a regular.

Barney’s Sports Pub used to be fun, but now it’s all gossip, drama, and arbitrary bans. The staff treats regulars like they’re troublemakers, and management seems obsessed with micromanaging every interaction instead of running a bar. Expect slow service, dismissive bartenders, and a high likelihood of being kicked out for reasons that make zero sense. What was once a fun local hangout is now a place that pushes away the people who supported it. Skip it. There are plenty of bars in St. Louis that actually welcome paying customers.
Edit: Their response to my review (and every other negative one) only serves to prove my point. Instead of handling feedback like professionals, they go straight to personal attacks or flat-out denial. Anything they don’t want to hear just gets dismissed That tells you everything you need to know about how this place is run. What a joke.

If you need a 3:00 bar that has a bartender whom will gossip and talk bad to you go to Barney's ... She will kick you out for asking for ice water and take your tip to boot and these reviews are very accurate where you are not treated with respect and forced to drink too much causing drunk driving because you can't ask for a water to sober up and you get disrespected and yelled at by mark's daughter.... Bad biz
