It's in the city area with below average food. Avoid their thali as Parrota they serve are frozen ones. Paneer sabji I had was below average. Specially 3 cubes being very chewy like stale and 4th one being very soft like fresh.

We went around 2 pm and thought of having thali. Unfortunately it’s their closing time and they are unable to serve thali. Ordered paneer biryani, chicken biryani and paneer lababdar. Everything tastes so good. Will definitely visit next time

Best food we’ve had in a long time. This wasn’t typical Indian food but something much more. The flavors were delicate, well-balanced and delicious. The Hakka noodles, Garlic Rice and other items were exceptional.
Moving from Springfield, Illinois, to StL, we had to find a closer Indian restaurant. Driving on our way to get BBQ and we saw Basil India and stopped. So thankful we did!!! The Chai is AMAZING! And since we were trying it out, we got several items-all were delicious!! Wonderfully authentic-this will be my go to place for Indian food! Portions are large and the staff is so pleasant!

I had an incredible dining experience at Basil India Restaurant! Every dish I tried was a delight to the senses. The Paneer Tikka was perfectly spiced and grilled to perfection, while the Chicken Butter Masala was rich, creamy, and absolutely divine. The Fried Rice was flavorful and paired wonderfully with the dishes. I also loved the refreshing Lemon Soda, which was the perfect palate cleanser. And let’s not forget the Parotta—flaky, soft, and just right!
