Basso at the Cheshire is such a great spot. The atmosphere is stylish and cozy, perfect for a nice night out without feeling too formal. The food was excellent — everything was flavorful and clearly made with care.

Would definitely recommend basso to anyone who wants to have a romantic date, girls night out, or just a yummy dinner! The atmosphere is calming with the dim lighting and all the food is delicious! My favorite is the cannellini dip, bucatini fra diavolo, and truffle fries. I also always make sure to have Christina as my server. She is professional, cheerful, and very easy to communicate with. The food is served hot and promptly. A 10/10 restaurant with a 10/10 server.

Basso is easily one of the best spots in Clayton and the underground cellar vibe is just so cool and cozy for a night out. The wood-fired pizza was incredible and I especially loved that they were cool about making sure no garlic ended up on mine. What really made the night was our server Angela because she was so friendly and attentive and gave us the best recommendations. We had a great time and will definitely be back soon.
