Really nice American bar with a good kitchen. Classic American dishes with an extensive drinks menu. The best slogan is painted on their window: whiskey is water with soul. The right sentiment for a drinking establishment.
The salmon was cooked very, very well, but could have used more seasoning. The rib appetizer came with the meal. It had good flavor, but was tough, maybe that’s St. Louis style(?) The server/bartender was great, but he needed more help. The girl that came in to ‘help’ was mostly talking to one customer while he handled the rest of the place, bar and tables. The cheesecake was delicious!
I had a lovely time at the BBQ Saloon. Phil and his team have me a great service. It was a pleasure getting to know them and they treated me kindly and with respect. The food and drinks were great. I will certainly come back.
