Bello's Bakery & Pastries

We ordered a blueberry pie from Bello's and picked it up couple days ago, There was no skimping on the filling, it had to weight 2 pounds. We cut into the pie that night, OMG, the pie tasted so good and the crust excellent.

I have never been to a bakery that doesn't offer bake goods on a daily basis. I tried to order one of their small cakes, but they were all frozen. It was my son's 16 birthday. I was taking him lunch and want to also take him something sweet. Well the cake was a no so I bought cookies. They were horrible and hard. Please don't waste your time here.

My brother walked into this bakery not realizing they require online inquiries only. He said the woman at the counter was very rude and didn’t really want to help him because of it. (Slammed the order notebook infront of him). The name on my cake was wrong (she didn’t ask for spelling). But the cake was delicious! And it was so pretty! I also noticed in other reviews people had a similar experience with this same woman. So hopefully things will turn around because the cakes are really nice!

Today’s adventure of looking to the new Lubeley’s. Someone mentioned Bello's Bakery & Pastries might somehow be related to Lubeley’s original owners and could possibly have some of the same recipes. I’d like to tell you we did not over shop, but we did not eat lunch before going. And ah well, we’ll just say it’s a good thing we have some friends that were happy to help us out.

Just a charming bakery, full of goodies, cakes, special orders, etc. We come for the wonderful bread -- cream bread, cobblestone, cheese bread, etc.

I was a little disappointed. I got a variety of cookies and none were very good. The person helping me didn't seem inspired to make recommendations either. When I go to a non chain bakery, I guess I expect the people working to be knowledgeable of the products, take pride in them, and be happy to answer questions. It seems like a lot of the positive reviews are about custom orders, so maybe it's just not as much of a walk-in type of bakery.

I have been going to this bakery since it was Schmemiers…such a an area favorite! The customer service has deteriorated for the past few years. The women working the counter are beyond RUDE!! And they charge a cc processing fee without notifying you before running your card. No one likes paying cc processing fees but part of running a business!! I refuse to go back into this bakery…do yourself a favor and go across the street to DAILY BREAD!

The best there is. Kind. Attentive. Respectful of knowing folks have choices. Prices are THE best and most fair compared to many others. Especially in custom and specialty. Love the quality. Can always count on them
