I visited Barry Box after work around 6:30 PM and ordered a smoothie. While I was enjoying it, I felt something unusual on my tongue and tried to wipe it off. To my dismay, I discovered it was a straight piece of hair. Considering that I have locs, I found it hard to believe it could have come from my own head , especially since I was using a straw with a lid on. Additionally, the employee who made my drink had brown/black hair and did not have a cap on. This experience was quite off-putting, and I believe it’s crucial for such incidents to be prevented in the future.

I was looking for a real fruit smoothie after an evening workout and stumbled upon BerryBox after a google search. I went in wanting a drink but after chatting with the kind workers, I ended up getting an açaí bowl and it was delicious! I’ll be back for sure!

The strawberry Lemonade slushie drink was good. Too bad bananas were in most of everything else. Staff was friendly. My son enjoyed the Suns 'n Rose's smoothie.
We visited Berrybox in the Foundry as we waited for our Waffles from Press Waffles, which is just across from it. Berrybox had milk options, which I needed, being somewhat lactose intolerant. I ordered a Chai Latte with almond milk, and my wife ordered a strawberry and dragonfruit refresher. They tasted very similar to Starbucks chai latte and Pink drink. They were delicious but abbreviated as there was lots of ice but not so much drink. Upon returning, I’d ask for less ice. Regardless, 5 stars for service and taste. Also, truly enjoyed the sayings on the cups!
Parking: Free parking garage in front of the foundry off Vandeventer. It’s inside the Food Hall.
