In town from Ohio for the UD-SLU game and arrived at Blue Jay Brewing 45 minutes before scheduled opening (unknowingly). Our first time there based on a recommendation down near Pappy’s. Jay saw us outside, pulling on a locked door, and invited us in. The beer was very good - I had the Monarch, a Munich style Dunkel. Jay and his wife are doing it right. Recommend you make this one of your stops while in town. GO FLYERS!

I had a great experience here, the beers were very good. All lagers which suits me, and I’ll definitely be back.

Cool brewery tucked into industrial building with a handful of tables inside and some outside seating. Great variety of in house beers, small selection of not beers (cider, seltzer, wine) for those who won't beer, and non alcoholic options as well.

Stop by after crawling around City Museum for some refreshment.

This is a fantastic brewery! Love their patio, especially on a nice Fall day. Their beers are exception! I've had many different ones over several visits and they have all been great! Such a great place to hang out and play game or watch a match!

Best smash burger in STL! Farm Spirit has an amazing unique way to bring out flavors in a burger that you never imagined. Lots of other delicious items on the menu too! Do yourself a favor and let Chef Ryan and his wonderful team feed you! You won’t regret it and you will come back! Yum yum and I dream of your burgers and potatoes!

Had never heard of this brewery until a stop at 2nd Shift. Thank goodness beer drinkers are a friendly bunch. A former Urban Chestnut brewer is doing wonderful things with malted barley and hops here. If you're a fan of German style beers get here, SOON!

Blue Jay is a wonderful addition to the craft beer scene in St. Louis. The owners are friendly, the spot has a great shared-outdoor space, and the addition of food makes Blue Jay a must-visit on your trip to Mid-Town.

The menu is usually pretty lager-forward, but includes collabs and other types of beers. I've not had a bad beer in my visits and look forward to seeing what comes next. The place is family-friendly and has a variety of board games, giant jenga, and foosball for entertaining.

You are also within walking distance of a couple other breweries, so get those steps and get them sips!

Great little place that opens up to a spacious biergarten. Highest quality lagers. When other breweries are closing, it’s good to see a place open that is so determined to make every beer top notch.

The Monarchs was rich, slightly sweet, with a good mouth feel. Service was great. I'll definitely be back.

Great local craft brewery, and really great staff. Try their hefeweizen, dunkel, Oktoberfest or Helles. Super cool place!
