Fantastic venue. Intimate. Great food and service.
Once again The Blue Strawberry did not disappoint. We enjoyed another great musical performance complemented by delicious cocktails (try the Buccaneer!) and food. Check out this lovely little venue!
The food was okay. We got a pizza and the smash burger with fries and some onion rings there was plenty of food but it wasn't really anything special and was pricey. Music was great and it has a very cool vibe. Would go back but would probably just order a drink next time.
This was a great venue! Wonderful staff, intimate atmosphere, great acooustics!
Great food, great entertainment, great service
Went to Blue Strawberry last night to see Nicholas Brooks. Performance was fantastic as was the atmosphere and food. This is a hidden gem in St. Louis. The owner clearly loves this business which is why it works!

On Wed is world class level Jazz, we come over from The Dark Room Also a Wed nite jam thats bass driven by Bob..
We were drawn to Blue Strawberry by the artist of the evening Pierre Bensusan. $30 a seat for this gentleman was a complete bargain... the venue a complete surprise. Bottle of wine under $40.. fantastic crab rangoon...a hustling staff. Nothing too exotic on the menu, but very week prepared and presented. Chairs are a little hard on older butts for 3-1/2 hours but it was worth it. Delightful evening. Well keep our eyes posted for other artists that appeal to our tastes.
First the good:
Pretty cool local music venue with full service kitchen. Service was excellent. Loved our waitress Goddess.!!
The Brussel sprouts appetizer was very good.
The not so good:
The beet salad is a salad with beets on it.
The chicken Kyiv is not chicken Kyiv. In fact, the meat on the chicken marsala and the chicken Kyiv was the exact same type of chicken just breaded and fried chicken.
There’s a $15 minimum per person, but that should be easy to make with two drinks and no food.
If I could rate the food separately, it would probably get one or two stars.
You’ll probably be going there for music. If you do bring some kind of cushion to sit on, the chairs are terribly uncomfortable.
Especially when you’re sitting for dinner and then music.
In St. Louis, you have to worry about venues like this being freezing cold in the summer. That won’t be a problem here. In fact, a couple of people in our party felt like it wasn’t cool enough.
Good food and great music!

Great place to hear live music, drink program is solid.
Would I recommend Blue Strawberry? Yes or no, those are my only options? How about maybe, depends… I am not a complainer but here goes. This was our second time at B.S. The first time was great, no issues enjoyed the show drinks and food. However, the second time (on 7/27/25) we arrived and were put in the back corner (by the sound board) and it took over 45 minutes for someone to take our order and that was only after several patrons complained. Finally, the owner came over with some excuse about being backed up and he was reminded some of us had been here almost an hour and nobody ever check on us (remember this place has a $15 dollar food and drink minimum per person). Now, one would think when you own a business and patrons are complaining that you as the owner would step up and take an order? Nope, he walked away and went and found a worker who eventually came over and took 1/2 of the back sections orders while skipping the other half. Eventually, a young lady finally appeared in our area and took our orders (after coming back 2x to verify what we ordered). Our drinks came out right away but the fries I ordered never came out. I find out later that they were delivered to the wrong table and the customer said I didn’t order fries, but I’ll take them. You would think as a server you might go gee, if that table didn’t order the fries, I wonder what table did? Nope! I eventually had to go to the bar and complain and I finally got the fries. Now FF to the end of the show and we NEVER got a bill, everyone around us did, but not us. I could have easily walked out and never paid my tab but momma didn’t raise me like that, so I went to the bar, found a server and settled my $50 tab. I had to chase down every aspect of my “dinner theater” experience. I like the venue, I like the concept but NOBODY appeared to know what was going on last night.
Great place to see a show.
Music was fabulous, Atmosphere live it. Service could of been better.
What a fabulous evening with Andrea Taylor singing Divas of Motown at the Blue Strawberry!
