Boardwalk Waffles & Ice Cream

Great atmosphere and waffles and ice cream were delicious! 10/10 recommend

I love it here the service is above and beyond outstanding my favorite worker there is vell he always full of energy and I love hearing him explain the menu he gets me right every time

i loved my experience at boardwalk! Vell was the nicest and most considerate employee when we came in 10 minutes to close. I felt like i was ordering ice cream from a dear friend! i wish i could leave vell 6 stars. Love it!

Very good!!!! Would of Givin them 5 stars but they were out of the Key West Lime Ice Cream. The waffle an Ice Cream I got were prefect, the lady working there was very nice, will go back next weekend.

So I’ve recently went to this place over the weekend while visiting St. Louis and i decided to stop and get ice cream and i ask for vanilla and cookies and cream and i didn’t like how it taste and requested to get another flavor so in the mist of him changing out the flavor and giving me a new flavor. I thought he was gonna throw the ice cream i ate out of away but instead he put it back in the ice cream buckets which i found very disgusting ?so please avoid this place if your traveling and stumble upon this ice cream shop!!!

Decor was very fun, made me feel like I was out of town ?. Nice variety of ice cream flavors. I got the strawberry & it was really good. Everyone in my group enjoyed their choices.

4.5 star rating. The only thing is i wished there were more ice cream flavors to choose from! Other than that, the waffle was perfect and the chocolate almond ice cream was delicious.

I went today with 3 friends. I got a ‘quarter waffle’ and asked for a small scoop of birthday cake and Oreo and was told, “Because we’re busy, we can’t do that.” I waited a couple of minutes and noticed the same young lady who told me that just stood there, watching her co worker make the waffles. So I then asked again, “So because you’re busy you can’t scoop two different ice creams?” She responded, “the ice cream here is all we have for today, we are literally running out of ice cream.” Looking around, there were 4 or 5 tables at that time. Once we sat down and after a few minutes, it did get busier and there was a line out the door. The ice cream itself was just okay, my boyfriend enjoyed his, though. Overall, a little disappointed about the experience esp the customer service, although I do understand it is slim pickings out there in terms of hiring staff.

Awesome new place brought to the Soulard area! Friendly staff and clean environment large bright dine in setting, offers old school games to play! Taste great makes waffle to order chocolate or regular! Many different icecream flavors to pick from! Definitely going back!

Really nice staff and tasty ice cream! The spot is super cute and has seating indoor and outdoors. Some games inside too!

Had a great atmosphere and the food was excellent. This is not just a recommend, this is a go now even if your grandma is currently having a heart attack.

Super helpful staff and great with the kids too. Waffles and Ice cream sandwich highly recommended. Lots of different flavors and cool combinations than other places too.

The ICE CREAM OMG! It was my niece's 10th bday. The ICE CREAM complimented the cake SO SWELL. I ❤THAT PLACE

Waffle was sour, very spongy, and very dry. The icecream was ok, but I ordered toffee and they gave me brownie, so I threw it out. The only thing that was good was the waffle cone. Also, the “wachos” come with a ripped up spongy mess of a waffle instead of cut/broken up waffle cone is a very missed opportunity.

Fantastic vibe. Good service. Nice atmosphere. Definitely a stop we'll revisit.
