Small waterside restaurant. Nothing fancy. Limited menu but what they have is good. Feeding ducks is great fun for the kiddo's. Great location for anything in Forrest Park.

Had a WONDERFUL experience planning our wedding reception with the Boathouse. We had our event in the room with seating for 80 & it was GORGEOUS. We needed no decor & our guests raved about the food & location. It was wildly affordable & we got to bring our own desserts. I can't stop telling people about the Boathouse -- no need to go anywhere else! (In addition, we also rented kayaks & paddleboats for our guests -- everyone had a blast!)

Must have been an off day - because food at lunch is great. Service on Sunday morning was terrible - even though not busy. Eggs were cold. Coffee was bitter. Biscuits and gravy had odd taste. Beautiful spot - but will skip breakfast.

Was a phenomenal experience! Friendly staff, quiet and scenic boating experience and plenty of time in an hour to get around the small lake area a few times. 10/10 recommend

This place is a quiet, welcoming environment for breakfast, but the operational tempo is much higher at lunch. You get views of the park and the lake whenever you come. The brisket is always good, including with eggs at breakfast. You can also order from the lunch menu at breakfast, and the sides are pretty good.
