I can verify and proudly state that this is a family institution that prides itself on serving only the best quality pizza in St. Louis. Mr. Bono spent many years working for Lou Malnati’s in Chicago perfecting his craft and now shares this brick and mortar beauty with his son, Tony. Lador Vador! #TueDudesEat For those of you who enjoy an authentic Chicago style pizza, 2 from our group tried Bono's and they stated this was the best they've had outside of Chicago. I had the Tavern wings, which is a mix between hot and barbecue. These were delicious!
Delicious Pizza, and wings, STL hidden gem. This place is a well loved, family owned Pizzeria. They have plenty of seating inside (limited seating on the pizzeria side, but ample seating inside the bar) and a small patio with a few tables and chairs. There is a full service bar on the other-side. Ordered a STL style sausage and bacon pizza. It was absolutely delicious. The pizza sauce wasn't too sweet and very flavorful, and there was no need to ask for extra sauce. The crunch...
