Sadly this place can’t quite get it right. My wife and I used to love Brio, we would come here when we were still dating, being patrons here for over 10 years. It had been our go-to for our date nights often. Various mixes of dine-in and carry-out.The last few visits had been carry out orders.1 hour wait for to go order, after we were told 20-25 minutes.Ignoring the special instructions requesting no meat for my wife’s order(vegetarian) and being assured before leaving that this dish has no meat.This happened three times in a row. And no one answers the phone if you try to call.It’s not worth the disappointment to my wife for us to get back home, excited for our food to find out she can’t even eat it, she’s probably thrown away over $200 in food from them over the last year.

We always enjoy Brio! This time, on our server’s recommendation, we tried the carpaccio appetizer. I didn’t get a picture of it because we ate it too fast. It was pretty and delicious. Server was fun and helpful.
I got the Shrimp & Scallop Risotto and would absolutely get it again. The flavor was amazing. Big portion size for that too!

I write this as unbiased as possible, but bottom line: Brio does not provide the quality restaurant experience one should expect for the price of their food and drinks, and misses it by a long shot. Our food was greasy, salty and acidic (these are $35 entrees). The waitress was slow and took food orders for everyone before bringing all the drinks out to each guest. Forks were brought out still hot from the dishwasher. It seemed like the staff here was not adequately trained in good service, especially for what patrons pay. Atmosphere was of low quality and it felt tacky and stuffy. I come from working in many restaurants, as does many in my party and we agree that for what you pay, the end product and experience just doesn’t meet up to that. If you’re looking for high quality Italian and willing to pay a little more, the Hill and Dogtown are your best bet. Don’t waste your money here.

This was my first time here. The food was amazing but our waitress made our experience. If you go to Brio on South Lindbergh, request Annika. She was friendly and prompt with her service. It’s great to see young people working hard! Thank you!

I love this St.Louis restaurant but I don't know what is going on with it... Several of us went to the restaurant over New Year's. Had a great meal but they ran out of bread... Recently a group of us went for lunch and not only did they not have any bread, the coffee was terrible & the iced tea looked like they used a tea bag maybe once or twice or three times.. we asked for crackers & the waitress said that there would be extra charge... So a person inour party went to the manager and requested crackers and happily they brought us a plate of crackers to the table..we were a party of 6... I hope they get it together.... Others I know have complained...our lunch was March, 2024
