Definitely worth the time to do when in St Louis. For a beer lover, it's a MUST do! Free beer and take home samples...who could ask for more?!?

We were visiting from Australia and had long planned to visit this brewery. We did the tour and it was really fun and informative. The guide was extremely knowledgeable. The clydesdales were awesome. I tried some good beers. I bought a cool shirt but lost it somewhere between the Uber and checking out of the hotel so that was a downer...

Wow! A must if you are in st. Louis. Such a cool campus and so much history, do the brew masters tour if you can, full experience with the opportunity to see the Clydesdales

Definitely a St. Louis staple! The lights are always nice and the parade is fun too. I love going to the gift shop afterward and picking something up every year I come here, they have some nice merch with the Clydesdales and with your favorite beer! Staff is always friendly and it's a really fun thing overall for all ages. Families, couples, older people, friend groups, etc. all have a great time here and I go every year!

The budweiser experience "day fresh" tour is a must for any tourist as well as any St. Louisan! The history of the brewery is really interesting, a good mix of facts and fun. The tour guides are knowledgeable and have the script and tour guide down to a science (literally ended at precisly 1.25hrs). You get to walk around the campus, stoping in several different bukdings and see different parts of the brewery, including the famous Clydesdales. As they talk about how they make the beer you get a freshly poured sample of budlight or budweiser and after seeing the production line you get a can of beer that was made within the last 24hrs. And at the end of the tour you get a freshly poured beer of your choice (there was probably 4 or 6 options?), and we all know a fresh beer just hits different!

Highly recommend brew lights! We love going annually and the lights are beautiful and it gets me in the holiday mood. VIP fire pits are wonderful and worth every penny (parking, food, drinks, s'mores and live music)! Budweiser changes it up every year and offers fun activities for kids too.

We arrived at the brewery for the 2pm finisher tour that we made reservations for. We read that you have to wear closed toe shoes and they do ask when you arrive if you have boots or tennis shoes on. It also specified no crocs. Also there is a no backpack rule. To be safe I didn't bring my mini backpack which is more like a purse, and I'm glad I didn't because I saw someone else get told that she had to go put her mini backpack in her car or in a locker. We checked in and they told us that they would make an announcement when we were ready to start the tour and she told us where we would be meeting. We had to have a hair covering during the tour so they gave us have these cute Budweiser ball caps. They also made us wear safety glasses but collected those at the end. The area where we got the fresh beer was 34 degrees. It was so cool, the tour guide hooked this springing spout thing to the tank and we were able to go up to it and get fresh beer. The more you drink there, the more refills you get!!!!!We also got a very nice commemorative glass. We saw them in the gift shop and they sell for $10 a glass. At the end of the tour we also got another beer sample of our choice at the BierGarden. Afterwards we went to the gift shop and we were carrying the glasses we got from the tour and the people in the gift shop were so nice and wrapped our glasses for us and gave us a bag to carry them.Everything shut down at 4:30 because they were getting ready for the Holiday lights. We also had bought tickets for the lights so we walked down to a restaurant in Soulard and came back. When we bought our ticket we got it for 6pm but we were there early and it was no problem. They let us in and we got a beverage included in the ticket price. We also pre paid for a photo. We were confused about this because they gave us a photo pass but we had no idea where to get our photo taken. On the maps that are located around the brewery, there were several places that had a camera image on them which indicates that it was a photo opportunity. We walked to all of them and the only one we saw with a photographer was by the Clydesdales. We Asked them where we go to pick up the photo and then from there they told us this year there is only one photo place. They had a parade at 7:30 and a small show with dancers at 6:30 and 8:30. I thought both were very cute. They have s'mores kits you can buy and fire pits around to roast the marshmallows. They have a limited food selection during the holiday lights. They had toasted raviolis, pretzels with cheese and a pulled pork sandwich. Outside they had roasted nuts, the s'mores and a couple of other small options. They have a kids area called winter wonderland. They also have Christmas music playing all around. They have 2 large Christmas trees at each end of the holiday display. The trees displayed all kinds of different light patterns, including stl cardinals, stl blues and the city logos. Overall I thought it was a great time!

The Day Fresh Tour was sold out so we opted for the Clydesdale VIP tour and it did not disappoint! The campus here is beautiful and everyone we interacted with was extremely friendly. Our tour guide was Christine and she did an absolutely wonderful job. She was kind, funny, knowledgeable, and gave us a personalized experience during the 45 minutes that we were with her. Seeing the Clydesdales up close and personal is an experience that we will not forgot. The two free beers on the tour are a nice touch too. Would for sure recommend this experience, even if you're not interested in beer.

I know Budweiser has come under scrutiny lately for their actions but I am writing this as just my unbiased opinion getting to tour the beer factory in the heart of St. Louis, Missouri. This was my 2nd official visit to the plant. I originally planned on just taking some quick updated photos from outside the entrance area, but when it was posted that a Basic Tour or formally known as the Day Fresh Tour was just $15...lol, I had to come back and enjoy another experience. When I say Basic Tour, that's the minimum type of tour offered. There were 3 more in-depth and detailed/personalized experiences for the avid beer enthusiast, but I was okay with walking around as the casual visitor with no worries about what extras were included. Well, getting a little tasting moment would be fun, and yes...I received that with the Day Fresh Tour. You're given 2 instances for beer tasting. During the middle of the tour, you're offered a plastic cup of either Budweiser or Bud Light. And as the tour finishes, you receive a 2nd, bigger cup of beer with much more selections of Budweiser products on tap. Then you can take your beer into the Beer Garden section for some relaxed drinking, socializing and hanging out.But back to this Day Fresh Tour, for $15, it's about 75 minutes long and guides you through the famous Clydesdales Horse Stables and inside the factories where beers are processed, fermented and bottled.Plus, along the way the guide provides details and talks about everything that is Budweiser. My guide was knowledgeable and friendly that I had to tip him $5 at the end. In fact, the gentleman happily volunteered to take family photos to anyone who asked him along the way. I appreciated that. The 75 minutes went by efficiently and with a brief break for enjoying some beer, I was happy overall with the tour and content that I returned regardless of it not being my first time here. Also, I'd like to mention just exploring the grounds of the Budweiser plants was sort of nostalgic in that it transported me back to a simple time when appreciating a classic beer without stresses was (and still is, I think) part of the American way of life. The factories and buildings all had that recognizable red/brick coloring to them and were a photogenic reminder for being in the "Gateway to the West" - St. Louis, Missouri. Some last extras...- The Gift Shop was extensive and offered everything catering to Budweiser.- The Beer Garden is a great social hangout and offers a full menu of options like burgers, chicken, salads and your All-American type flair. I noticed some of my tour friends eating BBQ pulled pork sandwiches and they looked delicious.- The front entrance area right beside the Ticket Counter is good for a picture moment. There's a big sign stating..."Welcome to the Home of Budweiser".Other tours offered on the grounds were...- Finisher Tour = $20- Clydesdale VIP = $30- BeerMaster Tour = $40Overall, if you're visiting St. Louis, MO, you must come here to Budweiser and take a tour. It's part of the package for enjoying a terrific city in the middle of the USA.

Spend an hour learning about the Clydesdales on the VIP tour. So interesting to learn about Anhauser-Busch Clydesdales from our VIP tour guide, Dave. In 1933, the Busch brothers presented their dad with a six-hitch Clydesdale team of horses to commemorate the repeal of prohibition. The horse drawn wagon was so popular that a second team was sent to NYC to mark the occasion and market the beer. The team was met with huge crowds. A case of beer was to former New York governor Alfred Smith. The tour continued and in Washington, DC, a case of Budweiser was given to President Franklin Delano Roosevelt. Eventually the team expanded to eight horses and a Dalmatian was added as well. Today, the Clydesdales continue the tradition. Each Clydesdale is chosen to match the specifications set and is trained by a dedicated handler. It was nice to meet Olaf who is trained by Jenna. Olaf was so sweet and patient as Jenna explained his daily grooming and feeding routine.Clydesdales originally came from Scotland. The Budweiser Clydesdales have four white legs. Apparently, Olaf is a master at getting one of his front legs dirty and needs extra grooming to keep his legs white. The stable is the original circular stable built by the family in 1885. The stable had running water and electricity at a time when most homes did not have those luxuries. The stable was finished with Tiffany glass and a chandelier that came from the St. Louis World's Fair. Busch was in charge of the International vendors at the World's Fair. Great tour. Samples included. Military and first responder discounts are available.
