Food and staff are great! We had the smoked wings, tacos and Tequila Sunrises. Loved every minute. This place is connected to Tamm Ave Bar.

✨ The Kool-Aid pickles? Totally delicious, so sweet, tangy, and sour!
🍟 The fries were crispy, golden, crunchy, and absolutely amazing.
🍗 The chicken bites weren’t really my cup of tea, but my friend’s sandwich was a hit. She was raving about it.
👯‍♀️ For big groups, seating can be a bit of a squeeze, there’s basically just one table for a larger group. We had to shove two together and ended up a little snug.
🐔 Still, if you’re a chicken fan, this place is definitely a must try!

I saw they were having a Philly cheesesteak special. I made sure to call before I went to make sure they had it today. Then I called back to order so it would be ready once I arrived. The Man at the counter was the same person who took my order over the phone. He was extremely nice and exceeded our expectations. Shortly after we arrived our food was ready. He made sure to put a fork and napkins in the bag. I love not having to ask for basic items. Then we sat outside to eat.

The Philly cheesesteak was very flavorful with Citizen Kanes flavored ribeye. I was worried about the sesame seeds in the bread. But the bread was perfect thickness, toast, and size. I wish the meat was more tender as I did struggle a bit trying break the meat up. It was still really good and I hope this becomes a permanent item on their menu.

Would make sure you call the store before making an order. They apparently are closed today but accepted my online order and gave me a time to pick it up. So now I’m out $20 and wasted an hour of my day 🤦‍♂️

Even though they read off my order, they didn't put it on the ticket so I didn't get the sandwich I wanted. The nugz were ok, not crispy or anything but the seasoning was good. Fries were top notch.

Sandwiches were great, nuggets were huge and good but not as good as the sandwiches. Value knocked it down a star though as it was a little pricey for what you got ($1 for a small sauce seemed excessive). $60 for 4 for fried chicken lunch is definitely on the high side.

Yay ! Byrd & Barrel is back. Too bad it’s in Tamm Ave Bar. We love this place with some of the best fried chicken in town. The Poutine and Mac & Cheese and Mother Clucker chicken sandwich are awesome. Never had a great experience with the bar service inside,it’s not good. Go outside if you need a beer. You’re either ignored inside or there is nobody serving. If this happened once I’d be forgiving. Seems to be a regular occurrence here.

$30 for chicken nuggets and a expired soda. Friend didn’t enjoy her chicken sandwich either. The sandwich Couldn’t be eaten without a fork or knife It was a sloppy mess.
Pat Connolly’s fried chicken is much cheaper and 3x the quality. Glad to have them in the neighborhood but this ain’t it………

Byrd & Barrel is a good stop if you’re looking for some creative food. Our meal consisted of a Mother Clucker, Tots, a Chicken Parm, Mac & Cheese, and Fries.

I have to say the restaurant is in a great location with a cool bar behind it. If you’re looking for some late night food, this might be the spot for you.

The Chicken Parm was really good, I would have to say it’s a recommendation and I would also recommend the Mother Clucker. I was excited about the Mac & Cheese, but that was a bit of a disappointment.

For you gluten free eaters out there, I feel like it’s important to note that this fried chicken restaurant actually has a dedicated fryer separate from their floured foods, which could allow you the opportunity to eat.

Ehh, I want to love B&B but it always falls short of my expectations. Service is always great, but the food is always missing something and is priced a bit too high.
At one point they had a Brussel sprout and apple butter dish on the menu. Now that was 10/10 and worth going for, hope they bring it back.
