Sandwiches were great, nuggets were huge and good but not as good as the sandwiches. Value knocked it down a star though as it was a little pricey for what you got ($1 for a small sauce seemed excessive). $60 for 4 for fried chicken lunch is definitely on the high side.

Yay ! Byrd & Barrel is back. Too bad it’s in Tamm Ave Bar. We love this place with some of the best fried chicken in town. The Poutine and Mac & Cheese and Mother Clucker chicken sandwich are awesome. Never had a great experience with the bar service inside,it’s not good. Go outside if you need a beer. You’re either ignored inside or there is nobody serving. If this happened once I’d be forgiving. Seems to be a regular occurrence here.

$30 for chicken nuggets and a expired soda. Friend didn’t enjoy her chicken sandwich either. The sandwich Couldn’t be eaten without a fork or knife It was a sloppy mess.
Pat Connolly’s fried chicken is much cheaper and 3x the quality. Glad to have them in the neighborhood but this ain’t it………

Byrd & Barrel is a good stop if you’re looking for some creative food. Our meal consisted of a Mother Clucker, Tots, a Chicken Parm, Mac & Cheese, and Fries.
I have to say the restaurant is in a great location with a cool bar behind it. If you’re looking for some late night food, this might be the spot for you.
The Chicken Parm was really good, I would have to say it’s a recommendation and I would also recommend the Mother Clucker. I was excited about the Mac & Cheese, but that was a bit of a disappointment.
For you gluten free eaters out there, I feel like it’s important to note that this fried chicken restaurant actually has a dedicated fryer separate from their floured foods, which could allow you the opportunity to eat.

Best dam chicken EVER!Flavors THROUGH THE ROOF!It looks like they moved to Hampton, check the website for info.
Ehh, I want to love B&B but it always falls short of my expectations. Service is always great, but the food is always missing something and is priced a bit too high.
At one point they had a Brussel sprout and apple butter dish on the menu. Now that was 10/10 and worth going for, hope they bring it back.

Great food very nice staff
Poor service, waited over 30 minutes after ordering in the drive thru. We pulled off and realized that they didn’t give us any utensils. Went back to ask for them and waited 5 minutes, no one came out to ask what I needed so I had to buy utensils from family dollar across the street. Food wasn’t even that great, definitely not worth the price or wait time—not all the nuggets were coated in red hot riplets like they are supposed to, and they were hard and over cooked.

Hot chicken was good. Nugs were a disappointment. For Reg nugs, hot chicken sandwich and a side of fries it was $33 dollars. So expensive. Looked at the receipt and they automatically add 20 percent gratuity. I went in the drive through didn’t even dine in. Felt like they were taking advantage of me. They even still ask for a tip. This left me with such a dirty taste in my mouth that I won’t be back. Also they don’t have a kid option for parents eating with children

We enjoyed the food during our first visit months ago so we decided to go back again last weekend for the second time. Ordered poutine, Nashville hots and Nugs. Poutine and sandwich were okay, nugs were a total disappointment. They were burnt, hard and too much breading. It feels like they were fried in very used oil because those nugs look so dirty and burnt.
Swung through the drive thru this evening and was blown away! Food was absolutely delicious! This is my second time eating at Byrd and Barrel. The first time I got the chicken and waffles which was great but the poutine is absolutely unbeatable. Service was outstanding! Thank you for all you do!
My husband stopped at this wonderful lil place on a cross country road trip from Arizona to Toronto. Nashville hot was sooo yummy! Mashed potatoes were perfect, and those kool aid pickles tho!!
