Wife & I were visiting and went there instead of the ol' reliable - Kohns. Excellent choice!! Portions were LARGE and prices were nominal. Place was clean and owner VERY FRIENDLY! Joe & Debby Pfefer

The place had a very nice upscale atmosphere. The prices were very reasonably priced. Sushi was 7-8 dollars and am entree was around $12. The staff was friendly. The service was ok. It wasn't very busy when I went, and it still took some time to make food. Not sure how long it would take if it was super busy. The place can hold probably 30-40 people.

Very nice experience. I am a lieutenant in the us army. I came here with two other lieutenants. We really appreciated the military discount! Besides for the very reasonable prices, the ambiance and food were excellent. I wish them luck in their business and only the best. We got the cheese pizza, Godzilla sushi roll, and potato soup. We finished off the meal with ice cream too. A very good meal!

The food was out of this world amazing, I got the sea bass, every mouthful was popping with with awesome flavor. The staff was courteous and nice. I would advise anyone to go to this restaurant again, and the next time I am in St. Louis I will be going to cafe Coeur again.

Visited here once with a friend and we really liked it! I was skeptical about the cuisine fusion but when you think about it, it just gives so many more options. I did appreciate that they have a lot of vegan dishes as well. My friend got a vegan sushi roll and one of the rice bowls and enjoyed it. There was mention that things could've used a little more flavor but overall it was a win. They also have a bar so thumbs up for that. I got the 4 cheese pizza with pesto and it was great! The pizza came out nice and hot, cheese was melty, and omg the crust!!! The crust was perfect! It was a great sized pie for the price. I will definitely be giving this place another try soon.

Cafe Coeur has very good food. However chunks of plastic were found in a risotto dish. The manager did not take responsibility for the unfortunate incident Update on recent review of Cafe Coeur: After posting a review on social media the owner reached out with an authentic apology and a compensation was offered for the meal or complimentary meal. The owner reassured me that he corrected the situation and made appropriate procedural changes. The food was good and I recommend trying this unique restaurant with kosher food.

My first visit today brought a delicious veggie lasagna to my palate. Everything is made fresh to order, even the lasagna! Pizza must be a favorite because I saw at least a dozen served in my 45 minute visit. I'll be back for sure!

Most interesting restaurant I've ever been to by far. I was not disappointed by anything I tried. There are so many different types of interesting food on the menu and I really can't wait to go back and try more of it

Meh. I went with someone who had been here before. Both times he thought only the sushi was worth eating. He's tried two pastas, neither of which he liked, including the vegetable bolognaise. I tried it and thought the sauce was not done well--too tomato-y in flavor. I didn't order a pasta, because I predicted they would not be great. The gyoza wasn't as good as anywhere else we've had it. It was very dry with only a tiny drizzle of sauce. It really lacked flavor. Another person with us got the salmon burger and fries. She thought the fries were fine but only ate half and did not take them to go. She ate half the salmon burger and did not like it. I tried a bite; I could not even taste the salmon. I ordered the port poached pear pizza. It was sweet but needed more pear. The dough was undercooked; it was still wet on the inside. The dough was unique but not in a good way. I normally eat the crust on pizza but decided not to bother here. Because it did not have a typical pizza sauce, it seemed too dry, even though the dough wasn't as dry as it should have been due to being undercooked. Additional pear would have moistened it more. The other person at our table tried half a slice and did not want more. We took the pizza and pasta to go, because we do not waste food, but if service was faster, we might have sent them back to get something else. We only ordered an appetizer so we could start eating sooner, because we knew service is slow. We were there over an hour for lunch on a weekday--too long. We had to ask for straws but other tables did not. One of us did not get a fork in our napkin roll. And I had to ask for a plate for my pizza. If we have to go here again, we'll be sticking to the sushi, but we don't have any desire to go back. It's too expensive and slow, and the food does not make up for it.

This was a great lunch spot. I felt comfortable bringing my family here. We were able to order delicious food that even my children loved. An excellent cheese pizza and an awesome Mac n cheese for my kids and I got to enjoy sushi. Clean and bright dining area and friendly wait staff. Service was a bit slow and disorganized but I believe this kink will work it's way out after grand opening month.
