We had lunch at this cafe today. The kids meals were fair, cold French fries, old hamburger patty, good Toasted ravioli, ok pretzels. The person who checked us out was just awful. We tried to ask questions about drinks for kids meals and straws for the Icees. She mumbled and basically ignored us. I wanted straws for my grandchildren and you would have thought I was asking for a million dollars. Toddlers need lids and straws to avoid messes. This seems like a basic request. For $50, we will bring a picnic next time!

The food was ok but the service was terrible! The cashier couldn’t answer basic questions regarding straws, cup lids, member discounts, etc. The young men taking grill orders were good, however the ladies helping with pretzels and toasted ravioli stood around and seemed clueless. There were three of them and I was the lone customer. These employees need basic communication skills, especially the cashier. This was our second visit for Sunday lunch in April. Next time we’re going outside the zoo for lunch.

Food was good, but the people at the register were rude, gave me the dirtiest glare when I went to go get my mom so I could guide her to the register to pay, and they kept trying to separate our food orders. The people working at the food counter were great though.

Possibly the best reuben I've ever had.Definitely did not expect that from a zoo cafe.Whoever the chef was at 12:30 pm, Tuesday, March 12th is an absolute champion.Quite a bit of food too, enough to split for a satisfying snack.

Airport prices for a small amount of gas station quality food. Ended up cleaning our own table before eating.

Food overpriced, no straws (only souvenir straws you had to pay for) no lids, no free refills, staff was rude, we ordered 3 burgers and chicken tenders and got a pizza, 2 chicken sandwiches, fries, 1 burger, and chicken tenders, confusing register and payment system. The pizza was not cut, barely cooked, the 1 burger we got was made wrong, the staff just dropped the food off and left before we could explain anything, and the tables were disgusting, and half the sauce pumps didn't work.
Terrible service, okay food,
Slow and way overpriced
Very rude staff, slow service. 0/5. . Eat elsewhere
Vegetarian options: Veggie burger available.
moldy food don't eat here. bring your own food to the zoo.
