It’s the best sandwich I’ve ever had in my life, the pastrami and rye is the perfect combination, I googled that it was a pastrami before entering the place and I convinced myself to order it, the service was nice when I saw that they were preparing it the pastrami exceeded my expectations and I thought it’s for two sandwiches and when I saw that it was only for mine I got excited. It has a very delicious unique flavor if you have a chance come to this place and try it. This is a real sandwich.

The pastrami on rye bread was pretty good, however because it took my wife and I almost a hour to get there, we had to find parking which cost money and when we went inside to order our food low and behold they didn’t have a bathroom for a paying customer to use. The restaurant was antiquated, you know after so many years of being in business, once in a while you really should update things, maybe install a bathroom? Maybe get free parking for your customers? Pathetic. Food was good, service sucked. I’m just gonna leave it right there

A waste of $15. I got a Ruben To-Go while on break for work. The To Go container was terrible, paper sticking to my soggy sandwich inside of a plastic bag. I managed to eat some of it with a fork but had to throw more than half of my sandwich away. On the upside, the meat was good and the service was friendly.

Absolutely killer pastrami. Good value and nice people.
The sandwiches here are insane. They're stacked high with meat and bursting with flavor. My wife and I shared a Reuben and a Pastrami on onion. I'd highly recommend both. Only caution I'd give is don't plan on eating these in a car because they're just as juicy and messy as they are delicious.

I haven’t had a good hot pastrami since I was a kid growing up in University City. Husband was in the hospital across the street and the nurse recommended Carls hot pastrami. It did not disappoint. It was delicious!!

The service was not very friendly, the ordering process is not straight forward, and the price confusing. The sandwiches even though large, were not well constructed and not possible to eat like a sandwich, so I had to use a fork to eat mine - maybe that size is a good thing for some people, but I was looking for a sandwich - it tasted good, just difficult to eat cause the bread did not hold it. The place does not look the greatest, but it didn't look dirty, just a normal deli - not very inviting. It looks like it's frequented by regulars, maybe I was an odd ball - so if you're going there for the first time, maybe have someone that knows the place with you.
