Great place to eat

Very nice, new, clean, Mexican restaurant. The decor is unique with large paintings of Mexican heritage on the walls. There were plenty of servers on, we were waited on quickly, and the food came out in a reasonable time. They are kid friendly with high-chairs. Our server Nancy, was attentive, though it was not busy. The food was good; it tasted authentic to a northerner 🤷‍♂️ The portions were smaller than similar Mexican restaurants I've visited, so it felt expensive, even though it was not.

I'd recommend visiting if you're comfortable with meals between $10 & $20. I hope you have a good experience like we did.

Vegetarian options: I was afraid to ask if most dishes had a vegetarian option because the menu says, "No Substitutions on any item or entree." I haven't seen that on a full menu in years. I didn't ask if ingredients could be excluded.

The vegetarian menu is pretty small and bland, which is why I would only somewhat recommend it. I will update this if they add vegetarian options on some of the main menu items.

Kid-friendliness: They have high chairs and were able to maneuver around it at the end of our booth. I appreciated that.

Today was my first visit. Service was great. Food was unusual, different than other Mexican places I'm used to, but in a good way. I am looking forward to visiting this place again in the future.

Ambiance was really nice! No one was there to seat us or the couple behind us after about five minutes we were seated. Food was tasty but for what you pay the portion sizes were could have been bigger. Service was mediocre, server spent a lot of time on his phone.

Great Mexican restaurant! The food was amazing and the margaritas were strong. Only complaint was how hot it was in the restaurant and it seems the prices are set for tourists. It was expensive for Mexican food.

Parking: The lot is very small and at an angle.

The best Mexican food in St. Louis! Service is excellent. Atmosphere is pleasant and well matainted. Prices are fair but dinner for four was $75.00.
