Sandwiches were really tasty!! Atmosphere was trendy and welcoming. Staff was so friendly and very helpful which is a great change of pace! Sandwiches were reasonably priced. You should come here!

Decent value sandwiches ($14 after taxes), and really filling/solid. Really enjoyed my bagel sandwich, though the actual bagel it’s in is fairly average the toppings were super stuffed, fresh, and delicious.

We held our wedding at 2nd Shift Brewing and used Central State Sandwiches for catering. Chef Kyle knocked the menu out of the park! Our guests raved about the food, especially the Chopped Beef and Cheese sliders, Caprese sliders, and Greek Salad. We probably overordered… but everything was good for leftovers after the wedding ? thank you Central State Sandwiches!

I can’t wait to return and explore more of the menu! This place is fantastic. The Chicken Pepper Tony is hands down my new favorite sandwich in St. Louis. We also tried the Mississippi Pot, and both were absolutely mouthwatering. The service was quick and super friendly. Big thanks to the team!

The atmosphere is great because you are at 2nd Shift Brewery, and that place is always a positive vibe.

Central State has THE BEST sandwiches! Consistent, flavorful, and affordable (for the quality). The Sandwich engineers are always in a good mood, and that makes everything taste even better. Last sandwich I had was the Mississippi Pot Roast, and it was to die for. Dude KILLED it! Perfect amount of Au Jus (didn’t soak thru the bread), a smattering of tasty peppers, and perfectly cooked beef. 10/10 would eat a dozen in one sitting, and die happy.

Always fantastic friendly service here. Everything is good, and they make sure they take care of their customers. They had just closed up shop for the holiday when we walked up. As the cook was wrapping everything up, he came out and offered me and my friend a BLT on the house.

I’ve gotten catering and eaten here many times. The food is amazing, local and fresh ingredients with skilled cooks equals tasty food Kyle is incredible. The rest of the staff is amazing.. It’s so hard to choose what’s my favorite. I recommend to anyone coming through the area. AND they cater!

Chef Kyle and team are awesome! We just Central State as our catering vendor at 2nd Shift and we are so happy we did. The guests absolutely loved the food! We had on menu items from the chopped cheese, toasted ravioli, and pretzels (crowd favorites). Kyle even helped to make us some off the menu BBQ items for our event which were so delicious. Every guest was full by the end of event. I would recommend everyone to use Central State Sandwiches for any events that you need catering or if you are on the hill stop by at 2nd Shift and try out their food!

I was not very impressed. The lettuce was very old - but the filling was tasty. The best part of the sandwich by far was the Union Loafer Hoagie. I tried to order at the window and window- never do that only use the QR code.

I done had all the foods they offer and there is nothing to compare except maybe the Beers that are at the most beautiful brewery in the nation
