I had 3 soft tacos, chorizo, beef, and chicken. All were very good, although the beef needed more seasoning. She had a giant chimchanga that was quite tasty. Reasonably priced and good service. Definitely will return.

If you are looking for a place for some authentic Mexican food in stl, this is the place! The menu isn't too extensive, but everything we ordered was delicious! What we ordered: I got the ceviche, which I thoroughly enjoyed. My friend got some asada tacos which she said were great! The next time I go back I would love to try the shrimp tacos! The outside is unassuming, but trust me, it's worth it!

I love Cherokee Street, you almost can't go wrong with whatever Mexican restaurant you choose to visit. Had the taco salad from Chaparritos, and I was delighted with the big slices of veggies. My strawberry Margarita on the rocks was great. It's a small space restaurant, but customers are aware of that and didn't sit long after their meal, at least during my visit.
lovely environment so friendlysalsa is amazing and margs really good5stars thank you!

We went for a bite to eat and a Margarita. The place was empty, after eating wonderful food we were shocked. Chips and salsa were very fresh. Asked for hotter sauce and they brought out two- a lime green and orange sauce. Both delicious and add together for a great Spivey hot. Guacamole was amazingly fresh and delicious. That could have been my meal right there. They had a smaller menu than shown online. But they had vegetable tacos for me and beef for my husband. Again very fresh with great taste. The margarita could have a better mix, but strong. This is a hidden gem. Try it.

Stopped in while waiting for a haircut next door. Bought whole staff a patron shot then was offered a private reserve don Julio along with three of the best tacos I've ever had. Also great tamarindo. Will be back asap.

This place is unlike the other Mexico Restaurants on Cherokee. The customer service is always great! The food is better than the others. The food here actually tastes delicious! I've been here several times and I'll go back again. I'd highly recommend this restaurant to friends and family. If you want GOOD REAL MEXICAN FOOD this is the place!
