Chava's Mexican Restaurant

The restaurant is Tex-Mex with a lively atmosphere and a great outdoor dining section. I would recommend the Fajitas with steak + chicken if coming here. Try the churros as well.

Our appetizers weren’t okay, the salsas and the nachos were fine. I would recommend getting the guacamole. Our server would leave our table for large portions of times and it took a while to get our order in.

Has to be the largest salad bowl I’ve ever seen, there should be a prize for finishing that. Glad I was there with clients and not tempted to finish it, should have snapped a pic but just now saw someone has a photo from July, though it’s hard to gauge size in that pic.

Great service and super family staff!!! Food was okay. I love Mexican so maybe I’m a bit picky and spoiled with great Mexican food in Arkansas. It definitely was not bad but nothing spectacular.

Yikes! The nachos are just odd to say the least. I got two steak burritos and the nachos, totalling 65.00 plus a tip! Wake up people!

We had to wait a long time for the food but when it came, it was pretty amazing. We also had chips and salsa to hold us over! Our toddler loved the guacamole!

Margarita drinks weak. Just wanted an appetizer of a quesadilla with add on of steak and they couldn't do it. All I ever get is that. I don't want the beans or rice just the quesadilla. Was here a couple months ago and they added the steak as an upcharge. Told I needed the $15 quesadilla which comes with the extras THEN can add steak for 3.75 more. They don't do that on the appetizers. This is the ONLY place I have been to ever where they refuse to do an upcharge. Oh but U can build a burrito with steak costing $5.75. I would have had NO PROBLEM paying the upcharge but sadly THAT is not an option. Won't be back so our $50 for basic tasting Mexican meals and weak drinks will go to a more deserving place.

Stopped in for drinks and appetizers. The queso and jalapeños were good and the margaritas were excellent. We sat at the bar and had great service.
