Chef's Express At Schnucks

I love Schnuck's! I wish they had one where we live! We visit St. Louis often as we have family there, and we always stop at this Schnuck's. It is such a wonderful grocery store if you want to buy food to take home and cook yourself. But they also have a large and wide variety of both hot and cold prepared foods, from sandwiches to full hot meals, as well as a wonderful bakery section with a huge array of breads, pastries, pies, cakes, etc. We always pick up a Gooey Butter Cake, and on our most recent visit, our daughter selected a very large and fancy Jilly's Cupcake. The store is large, well lit and clean. Employees are friendly and service is great. I cannot recommend this store highly enough!

I really like what Schnucks had done with their hot food counter. Now it's much easier to drop in and grab a hot lunch without wasting a lot if time. Fried chicken is great and the Mac and cheese. I do think the staff need to swap out the food more often as sometimes the veggies look a bit sad.
