I dream about their Yassa Chicken. The servings are generous. It may not be the prettiest, but it is by far the tastiest.

Rice and beans/cabbage were good but unfortunately Niagara Falls doesn’t have enough water to rehydrate me from how dry the jerk chicken was. Felt like I was eating a plate of dementors. Felt like it was seasoned with sand from the Sahara. I don’t like to waste food but I started to feel like spongebob under the light in shell city so I had to toss it.

Yassa is my favorite and I've tried everything. They don't sell yassa daily. Sucks that I've made multiple trips from illinois to get yassa and they don't have it. Wish they would be more consistent on having dishes daily.

I had their oxtails, rice & peas, & cabbage. 2 small tails with hardly any meat but flavor was just ok, rice and peas just ok, cabbage very bland. Way too expensive for 2 plates and a small soggy plantains almost $60.

Hadn't had it since they left City Park and have missed the Best Jerk Chicken ever, so that's what I got. They even left the Cabbage off for me, and there was no waiting. Love this place. Has a parking issue, but it's worth it.

This food was disgusting. They have no condiments, the Lemon Pepper chicken was old chicken cooked in gravy. I should have known they are marketing Afro Carribean food with no carribean ppl. Terrible.

Let me start this review by saying that I've eaten at Chez Ali several times. I've enjoyed Jerk chicken and Curry chicken. Both flavorful with good ol Jamaican spices and a hint of smoke. I love that. Guess that explains why I've eaten there several times. My complaint, tho ( and I've actually hesitated to complain because I like the food), is the very inconsistent meat portions. If you look at my plate below, at a glance, you'd swear it was piled high with meat. In reality, it's mostly rice, rice, and more rice. The meat is basically leg quarters chopped till you can't chop them anymore. When I gathered up the choppy meat chunks, I didn't even have two legs in my Jerk chicken plate. The Curry and Jerk combo plate had probably two chunks more. By NO MEANS, am I saying the food isn't tasty. I am saying they have skimped on the meat 95% of the times I've eaten there. Customer Service is hit or miss also. A couple folks seem kinda friendly. I just wish those things would change. The experience would be better and worth the price.
