I was on a school field trip and we stopped at the foundry for lunch little did i know id meet one of the nicest men ever. First of all my friend had braces and couldnt eat the jerk chicken which was amazing and filled with flavor i asked for platains which werent frying yet and he made me some that second. Back to my friend we got oxtail he gave us extra scoops and gave us half off. we tried the oxtail so tender delicous and delectable. He was so nice gave us free sodas and we striked up a conversation about his where he was originally from the best man i have ever met in my life hands down LOVE HIM DA GOATTT!🙏🏼❤️❤️❤️❤️

This review is from the galleria location. I notice that there are never many ppl at this restaurant, so I decided to patronize. Whenever I went there, the lady was sitting in a corner on her phone. She never got up... even when answering my questions about what was on the table, she still just sat there and pointed... so I walked away. I've noticed that she never gets up even when a customer walks up. This is unacceptable. I work in the mall and I will never go back there.

Do not recommend eating here; bland (how can you make a curry dish bland?!), dry, overcooked, underprepared (I had a half of a potato in my curry chicken…didn’t bother to even diced their ingredients), over priced food. Personally offended by my meal.

I usually like the food but it’s never hot. Today the food was cold. The jerk Chicken was the only thing that was hot because it had just been cooked. The other. Chicken we had was extremely cold. The cabbage was cold, rice and peas, and the plantains, all cold. I asked them to heat it up and they did but it was not hot all the way through. The server said something about the warmers not working properly. And the cabbage and rice and peas was extremely under seasoned today. Not much flavor at all.

Feels like i just let them scam me. Paid 20$ for a few small pieces of chicken, a scoop of cabbage and 2 scoops of rice. Instead of a jerk chicken plate they should call it a Cabbage and rice plate with a side of jerk chicken because essentially to get full you will have to eat the rice and cabbage because there’s barely any meat on the bone of the chicken in the first let alone added with the fact you’re get 3 or 4 small chopped up pieces of chicken. Just leave them alone and let them go out of business. Chez ali is no longer welcome to St.Louis.

I don’t understand is why they are giving small portions for the amount of money it cost. They used to give a nice amount of food now it’s like they are giving you less. The customer service is horrible now especially when the Indian females take your order. I will not come back here I used to be a loyal customer I feel like I’m making an order and you just giving me what you want. And there’s barely any meat on the chicken she gives us a lot of rice and cabbage and 4 small pieces of meat chopped into small pieces. Smh

Visiting the city and decided to try this place after seeing its ratings/reviews. Well I must say, most reviews are misleading… 2 stars for atmosphere/service. I had the jerk chicken plate: Chicken was VERY dry and awfully portioned yet it was seasoned well. Rice and beans also dry and hard and taste like vinegar (or maybe it was sour).
Needless to say, I will not eat there again nor will I ever recommend this place. Hopefully the next (Jamaican/Caribbean) place I try will be better.

So I had been here multiple times to pick up food for me and my partner since I saw it had good reveiws, I didnt have a great experience the first time and wanted to give them another chance- so I did and they disappointed me again, so this is a summary- I went and ordered oxtails with rice and peas and cabbage both times, I know oxtail is expensive but for 54$ and some change about for 2 plates of oxtail you would expect 1st and foremost a decent amount of oxtail- and 2nd that the oxtail would be cooked well- the oxtail they gave us only 2 big peices each time , with huge peices of fat that were not trimmed, I can deal with some fat but not HUGE fat caps- they were not cooked nearly long enough as the fat hasn't even had time to render/braise- and giving a huge portion of rice which is super cheap doesnt equal money worth for what they are charging, they give small amounts of oxtail and its not cooked well - i really don't have anything positive to say- I was very disappointed and felt cheated for my money- if you want good oxtails go to my maries instead-Needless to say I won't be back.
